Next season of OWL will be played in Alpha version of OW2 I'm pretty sure. I don't know how it will work, but that's their plan. Its weird situation, but at last they haven't said that they would cancel that especially when teams have made changes for 5v5 already.

They are also adding some new maps, new heroes, base gaming is going from 6v6 to 5v5 (2 dps, 2 support, 1 tank). There's some hero reworks and for example tank role is going to change little and they are getting new abilities etc. Then ofc engine update that adds better visuals and sounds etc. Its pretty big update even for PVP.

True, but for someone who likes Overwatch its still pretty hype because there will be new content and stuff. And I would imagine that Patiphan still likes Overwatch, because he pretty much switched just because he was too young. He only turned 18 (minimum age in OWL) like 3 months ago. Plus OWL minimum wage is like $50k per season and he is joining one of the most money spending teams meaning that he is most likely making even more so he is still making more than in SEA Valorant.

He is going to play in "NA" team. And he was OW prodigy before, but was way too young to compete in tier 1. Plus next OWL season is being played in OW2, so that's pretty hype and many teams are signing new talent and seems like he still has love towards the game. And obviously he is going to get paid more than in SEA Valorant.

Top 4 in Champions and tbh that is extremely good considering that they have the biggest target on their head. And they pretty much helped every team with their Masters 3 run, because every team is copying nAts lol

He is still like best in his role

Nice try X10CRIT!

Xeppaa isn't the worst player, but he has been the worst player in quarterfinals so far, especially considering his role in C9.

I don't think TL were supposed to lose that. They don't play Bind that much, but lately got beaten by both Acend (best Bind team) and Sentinels (who looked insane) so it isn't that big of a problem. Obviously winning becomes harder for C9 going into map 2. But, this wasn't must win exactly.

Nivera is such a good player

He had good idea, but timing was bad and Nivera hit insane shot

I mean these picks aren't bad for TL, but they are good for C9. TL's Bind was trash against SEN, but they aren't terrible on it normally.

How is there less storyline in EU than in NA? I'm sorry EU isn't full of washed up tier 2 CSGO players...

Let's not celebrate too early. Maybe after C9 vs TL, but not yet.

Respect to Team Secret. Great tournament from them and they showed some great gameplay! Cool personalities as well! Big step for SEA.

Yeah, but everyone thought X10 was trash after their first game against Envy.

True, but there's more stakes here

Clearly nerves hitting rest of Acend. Kiles and BONECOLD both whiffing easy shots and look shaky.

posted about 3 years ago

Nerves hitting everyone outside of zeek and cNed, but they were beasts in Masters 3 as well.

Gambit with varsity jackets is S tier. I also kind of like Fnatic's with their jackets. Overall "uniforms" that have some sort of jacket on top of jersey are usually cool af.

Acend's performance will most likely be worse than what it was against Envy, because they are playing on stage. But, obviously they should still be the favorites. Wouldn't be surprised even if Team Secret won though unless we are heavily overrating them because of their game against fking Vikings.

Small part of Turkey is in Europe.

Gambit's normal playstyle actually counters X10's really well. And I could maybe see Team Secret even winning since Acend will be playing on stage again and that is never good.

I guess every esport follows the same timeline. NA dominates really early and then, you know this happens

THERE NO FUCKIGN WAY WHO THE FUCK WOULD HAVE THOUGH BOT SENTINELS AND ENVY WOULD GET ELIMINATED IN GROUPS WTFF

Aftershock always leaves small cap between the shock and where its activated I'm pretty sure. But its stupid af.

why so racist brazil

I feel like the value of star Jett players have dropped little this tournament. Supportive players are getting more and more time in the spotlight. Teams are getting better at playing around these and that shows in numbers.

They had that map. But no let's just play aggro against eco on defense. Like pls just hold site don't rush and give guns. That never works.

???? How are BONECOLD and Kiles cocky children? I would maybe understand if someone thought that about starxo, but about those 2 what? BONECOLD one of the humblest and positive players in Valorant.

TL with blue and white

Fnatic, Team Liquid, Gambit, Acend not even biased. Like how could you not like any of those teams or their players unless you are Brazilian?

So bad round from VS. Just peaking Spectre one by one. Also they left Operator behind like none C9 player picked it, but even that was big risk from VS.

posted about 3 years ago

But its more likely for big regions to stay ahead, because they have bigger playerbase. For example EMEA as a whole will most likely always stay ahead as the best overall region even though there might be single teams from other regions (minor) that are better.

Jamppi, just because how important his flex ability is for Team Liquid. Plus he is good fragger.

no shit

VS actually looks pretty bad ngl. Like you wouldn't watch this and say that they were one of community favorites coming in. Maybe they are just bad on Ascent.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah he didn't have crazy performance this time around. Had pretty weak games against TL (outside of Bind) and KRU. Still great player.

This is pretty much perfect for EMEA.
