the way competition works is you dont get applauded for improving in matches, you do that in scrims and practice. For all we know LOUD could be fucking around trying different shit until they realize its enough and tighten the noose to hang EG for a good ol 13-0. Even if thats not the case, nobody cares if ur winning a few rounds more than ur last game or u take 1 map off an opponent if u keep losing the series. Idk, maybe its the fact that EG has no fans or nobody expected them to win which has given Potter and co a get out of jail free card and nobody questions them but the fact that these guys get to play franchised while alot of promising individuals have to sit out is annoying AF.

zekken has the potential to reach the level of derke. His raze is better and bigger agent pool than Tenz. OP can be better but it is not bad.
Most NA teams seem to have created their roster around Chamber mains - ardiis, yay, cryo but the agent nerf has fucked their team roles up. It seems Cloud9 was right in realizing this or maybe it was their financial crunch which forced yay out - either way seems to be working and they might just be the best NA team.
I recall Shaz saying he wanted Rawkus as the coach. I somehow feel there is a lot of recency bias with ur take, although i dont hate Shaz. With dephh's performance the way it is and G2 doing half decent in Split 1. Most of the decisions post franchising were made on last year's performance (rightfully so) because people would then question how XSET players were not franchised when they performed like the 2nd best team in NA last year. So having Sykko and then I assume him and Kaplan made the decision to have dephh was the logical decision based on '22 performance.

Sentinels is not an org one goes to win tournaments, rather its a trophy org that you go to after you have won everything there is. SEN Fansâ„¢ are hardstuck gold players who call out the bottom-fragging support players in their lobbies after they insta lock Reyna and fail to win the game. Using similar logic, SEN Fansâ„¢ always call for the head of their bottom fragging team member and Rob Moore acting like a simp for these SEN Fansâ„¢'s clout and money - obliges and fires anyone and everyone and quickly replaces them with whoever is considered a GOAT by the SEN Fansâ„¢.

serious answer : we're going through a mild recession in USA which has affected a few industries including esports. Major chunk of esports revenue is from sponsorships and the orgs which sponsor have been hit with recession which means they have reduced their spending. EG for example has lost 5 (half) of their sponsors within the last 6 months. Other industries which have been hit include technology where there have been mass layoffs - Google, Meta, Amazon etc

i feel this is based on G2 performance in T2 and alot of people for some reason believe M80, Guard and G2 are franchise-worthy. I feel these three teams would still lose to Fnatic, Leviathan, NRG - the three teams which Sykko and Depphh lead Sentinels lost to. The reason why Sykko and Dephh were given the chance to lead Sentinels is because XSET did great last year - something most SEN fans have forgotten over 3 losses.

Its just that Potter decided not to go after the hot talent (optic/xset/LOUD players) at the beginning of the franchised world. This was confirmed by yay who said EG is one of the orgs who did not make any offers to him. So the roster being whatever it is - thats completely on Potter.

he won 1 master at the very beginning when the scene wasnt mature and has been absent since. i already know ur gonna shift that blame to shaz and co so wont even bother arguing about it. there are others who have won masters and still performing better than tenz but they dont get the same traction as him which is why it is underserved. if he thinks he has already achieved everything there is, then he should sit home and enjoy his tier 3 fans like urself.. fans of the game and the competitive scene know he is overrated.
