Every number 1 gets a 100 score. It's standardized so scores are simply based on whoever the number 1 is.

If MIT dropped some points and oxford stayed the exact same, oxford would get 100

The difference within the top 10 is literally within less than 3 percentage points and 5 of them are european.

What is your actual point? You're trying to defend undefendable positions.

factually wrong, the more you do it, the moe the time increases. You can get banned for ltierally a month if you keep dodging after being banned for a week etc already

Student options should definitely matter.
Award numbers shows how good the talent is that they attract.
Graduate employment means how good the jobs are that grads get after a degree in this uni, HUGELY important.

The rest you can argue about.

???????????????????????? nice logic

This seems accurate to me.

Though I must say while cNed is the most consistent, it seems keloqz and d3ffo have the highest skill ceiling, they just aren't as consistent as cNed so when they do pop off it's amazing, but they don't pop off as frequently as cNed

Offering a solution that is not fit-for-purpose does more harm than good. Until rito comes up with something that acutally solves it, we need to accept the ranked system as is.

Your solution does nothing but harm.

posted about 3 years ago

Still you offer an incomplete solution that will actually do more harm than good, surely you see that. It incentivizes counter-productive play

That's such a shit take since it ignores so many key aspects of the game.

A duelist's role is not to get kills but to get space. If you get openings kills and multifrags as a result of that space, great, but if your duelist is consistently getting your team on sites by taking space but get no entry kills, that will help your team massively. They might bottomfrag but actually help your team win in a huge way.

Also, that would promote people to play in non-optimal ways to "inflate their stats".

If kills mattered a lot as a duelist you could lurk all game and play 1v4 situations all the time to get exit frags and boost your RR gains. If util usage mattered a lot more as an initiator or something, you'd be using your util to affect the maximum amount of enemies no matter if your team can capitilize on that utility or not.

Piss take and stop crying about losing.

Loud noise still means there will be gaps in the audio between sounds where those players willbe able to pick up caster sounds and potentially comms, so not a viable solution in this case.

A lot of criticism of valve is very warranted but the tournament organizing one is NOT a valid one.

They just follow different business models:
Volvo opens up the floor to 3rd party organizers that put in bids to them to create the best tournament possible, Rito likes to keep it in-house. Each have their pros and cons.

This says nothing about the maturity or value of each company.

Chose 1000 ways to attack volvo and I'll agree, but this is not one of them. You don't understand business models, it's clear.

In valorant headshot % is calculated differently.

In CS the headshot % is calculated as the % of KILLS that ended in a headshot
In Valorant the headshot % is calculated as a % of all TOTAL SHOTS that are headshots.

Some months back tracker.gg showed the CS style of calcualating headshots for Valorant profiles. I had 69% headshot with the vandal. Now they reverted to the standard way of calculating headshots in valorant, now it shows 39% headshot on vandal.

Having 45.5% headshot in valorant is probably the equivalent of 70%+ in CS.

Where the fuck does this stupid idea come from that duelists always have to carry and sentinels need to be bottom of the board.

If you’re playing a more lurking role like nAts and play it to perfection you’re going to be carrying a lot. Most of the best cs players of all time were classic lurkers.

If you’re going to be playing HARD entry on jett, which deffo definitely does often, it doesn’t always enable you to go huge on the frags side, but that isn’t necessary. Frags aren’t the goal, space is.

To think of duelists as fraghungry superstars by default is a mistake.

Interesting. Nivera is also an AWP hybrid, so it would be interesting to see if Jamppi stays on omen/kj on some maps and we get nivera on the jett operator at times.

also first time scream is playing officially with his brother. Again, interesting for the dynamics.

yes it gives you a disadvantage when holding something, that's why you repeatedly peek things while holding and you balance it out.

I have played on turkish servers to give you a taste of your own medicine and it become ridiculously easy to win duels.

That or people on your servers are just really bad.

70-80 ping gives you quite significant peekers advantage. If you're the one peeking you are more likely to win the trade. Playing on 0 ping on LAN would require you to change your entire playstyle, so could actually harm how they play quite heavily

70-80 ping gives you a bigger peekers advantage in valorant
It's quite noticable, its why so many turks play on london servers, they can just ferrari peek everything

Or it’s just a miracle run.

Was cloud9 in csgo an s tier team cause they won a major? Hell no, the pieces just miraculously came together at the right time.

We really haven’t seen enough from SMB to decide what kind of tier they are.

Valorant just keeps fragmenting streams and typically streams in turkish etc get loads of viewers. I suppose many people aren't watching the main stream which they do in CS, for some reason.

cNed is definitely the better player. Looking just at playing operator they might be on par. Wardell has a super high ceiling but cNed is more consistent.

If we take into account ability usage, jett ults, rifle plays etc then there really is no argument and cNed is by far the better player.

what do you mean? His sage is really fucking good, and he often topfrags hard on it while providing more utility. He doesn't perform as well when he's playing hard entry, but anything apart from that he'll be insane on. Sage, reyna, doesn't matter.
