i’m actually a MASSIVE fan of Nearest Airport. newer team, started from nothing by pr0phie, and the players are genuinely working hard to build chem and strats. very unusual for NA. i fully expect them to make a statement in the next qualifier.

I just want G2, Liquid, or OpTic to win this LAN. ScreaM and Nivera deserve it, Mixwell deserves one as a legend in his own right, and I always want the best for FNS and his NA team. So hopefully playoffs will be more interesting to me as a whole.

FWIW, I fully expect OpTic to beat Guard in the playoffs. They were close online, but OpTic has more LAN experience, both in general and in this tournament. They're warmed up, Guard isn't.

Yep. No face cams, no wide shots of full-team reactions, no crowds, coaches in another room (seriously, what other esport does that), and many other tech pauses.
There’s also a criminally low number of events per year. And don’t give me any bullshit about “valorant only two years old be patient.” You’re part of the problem by not acknowledging the issue, which means you’re not holding riot accountable.

they tried once when Liquid was playing but ScreaM's facecam showed up for every single player they observed. Unintentional, but it made the game better tbh lol. I'd also love to see an end-of-table shot of all 5 teammates each round for reactions. They don't capitalize on the LAN environment - should show players MUCH more often.

not in his csgo prime, but in valorant ur absolutely right
first, wardell is good/consistent because he knows the angles and crosshair placement to make all his shots as easy as possible. he’s definitely not the kennyS or m0nesy type.
second, the skill difference in valorant awping is so small. any no-namer can pick up an OP and find success with get-out-of-jail-free-card agents. it’s not as much of an art as csgo. although wardell is clearly better than a bunch of other awpers in valorant, it doesn’t make that much of a difference in game.
