He's one of the (if not the) most intelligent Valorant player. He was very cerebral during his CS career as well, considering he came on the scene as a 16 year old aim prodigy, it's impressive how his career unfolded.

14-8 in direct duels first two maps, so you're correct
What's ironic is that Something's hometown is closer to Seoul than most other teams native countries in Pacific league. he should not be considered an import, Riot is playing dummy
based on the team assembled, fnatic is closest to man city, if you want to make that comparison
it's not... some people on this site don't even know where their native country is on the map
bro i didnt see any reaction as close to this when NRG lost to fucking BillyBilly
You are officially blind then. Go check that out
FNC won back to back masters
Someone is braindead on arrival.
elderflame vandal, op and judge hit different...
let's be real... xset is comparable to 100t at international showings (even if 100t reached top3 at a masters), placing them over sen 2021 makes absolutely no sense, unless you're smoking something really good
you're overestimating xset a lot
prime sen vs prime xset would not even be close, not sure what you're on
xset only managed to reach 7-8th (in which they went 0-2 at masters copenhagen) and 5-6th (in which they did ok at champs 22, but mainly due to hard carrying from zekken and cryo, the team itself was not that good) at international lans
and no, I'm no sentinels fan... it's just facts
what? how? why? they've accomplished nothing compared to sen 2021
The list is way bigger than that (eg: nismo, net, curry, etc etc) , but you're outlining my point pretty well.
nah, you're just clueless
This fact was applicable even in the heydays of CS in NA. If you went to any LANs or even cyber cafes, 60%+ of players were some sort of Asian-based descent. The first SoCal CS LAN I've attended in 2012 had only 5-6 white ppl present, and one of those was working on location, while the rest were players. But I know.... expecting you to leave your mom's basement is quite big of me.
I don't have any dataset to provide you, because nobody tracks this in any official manner. However....
The source is the game. I've been playing since Beta. Go on California servers for 2 weeks and talk to people every match. See how many of them are of Asian descent, first generation Asian, or straight Asians that moved to US. Sounds like you're gonna be very surprised, but at least at that point the source will be "trust yourself bro"
FYI: Not American, but I've been living in LA for the last 12 years
nothing casual about 13 rounds... it's a CS competitive original feature to begin with
And MR12 was used way back in cs 1.5 and 1.6 tho
It was actually 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 if I remember well. The change to MR15 was done during 1.5 era. 1.6 was always on MR15. but overall you're correct, the first few years of competitive CS it was MR12. Also, Riot didn't copy CSGO, they mainly copied 1.6 when they created Valorant (bringing back that feeling was one of the first things that Riot devs mentioned when they first talked about Project A). I assume most ppl here are too young to have played 1.6, so they keep confusing things
maybe then ppl will shut up about "my region is the best"
They've been having Valorant competitions in China since 2020, like everyone else, they just played on the Korean client (non-official in China).
Example, see KangKang and nobody being good since 2020: https://www.vlr.gg/3217/vision-strikers-vs-royal-never-give-up-douyu-bie-zhuang-cup-season-1-playoffs-gf
nah, if you watch the China qualifiers you'll realize that EDG and BLG are miles ahead of any other Chinese teams
They need a real IGL, a western coach
That was the idea behind bringing xeta and Autumn over from cloud9, they both had extensive experience playing in the west.
Ethan is a way better Kayo... you're again delusional, it must be your middle name
it's obvious that's what I'm saying, not sure why/what you're trying to confirm.
did you just start watching Valorant? Judge has been used and abused for years now...
highly doubt Giants are going through, FUT probably will
This dude wants Loud to make brain-dead plays, but when they don't do.. he blames the crowd. Quite impressive
I do, I just believe this is going to be a very close map again on the 3rd, regardless of who's winning it
imagine if you'd have any credibility after saying that navi will win ascent 13-0
imagine how you're going to look if loud reverse sweep this
clearly a replay round cuz judge didn't work..... LMAO
this dude wants a replay based on a player mistake.... you can't make this shit up. What's next? replay cuz player whiffed?
idk what you're smoking, Breeze is one of the best maps they made. Split is a horrible map design and should've never been brought back
The term "earned" has no implication related to time whatsoever. But I agree with your point, it can be "temporary earned spot". Guest just makes no sense, when you're not invited. Calling it a guest when you have to fight your way through a potential 30 teams is just reinventing the definition of the word guest. People that disagree are simply lacking basic knowledge of English language.
if Saadhak is gonna do Ange1 plays and die first with Breach... it's definitely not gonna be the future lol
Breach & Fade on Pearl.... I'm intrigued
It cannot be a guest slot, because they were not invited. If anything, all current partnership teams are "guest slots", the ones that went through Ascension are "earned spots"
Look up the definition of guest, then you'll realize why some people are bothered by the comment.
Simple English and common sense folks... very simple
Comms are the most important thing
You could've left it at this. Comms are usually the most important thing in FPS Tac games, no matter the rank or if it's at pro level. You'd be surprised how many coaches are stressing the communication aspect, nor how many Ascendant/Imm matches are ruined by lack of comms.
just because you show me another picture with him wearing sports tape doesn't mean the current one is, it clearly isn't a kinesiology tape. I'm confused how you think you proved something here... still spewing random shit I see. That is a wrist patch, they have different goals and achieve different things.
That's not a sports tape lol. You're just spewing random shit. That's a patch, either pain relief, nicotine, or something that penetrates the membrane and gets into the system via veins.
Calling it LCQ assumes that someone higher qualified from that region, hence calling China's qualifier LCQ is quite stupid. It wasn't China Last Chance Qualifier, it was China First and Only Chance Qualifier. Use brain next time before posting
I don't know what you're on, but Skye was used from the beginning of Stage 1 VCT 2021 (Skye was released at the end of 2020) in pretty much every region, with the least play time probably in NA. Deadlock is not used because she's simply inferior to sentinel agents like KJ or Cypher, period.
you think incorrectly, blonde blue eyes are a minority even between white ppl.
How are you going to cut Sliggy from a team that he's not even on? lmao
I don't see a scenario in which either Giants or Liquid would win Champs, or even make it far (maybe one of them squeezes out of groups.. maybe, most likely scenario is that they both get grouped)
NaVi maybe they could win, (there's definitely potential) if they stop making so many mistakes, but quite unlikely. There's adaptation issues that they have in matches (that were not there during FPX era last year), and in my personal opinion they don't have enough structured comps on the entire map pool to make it that far.
Gotcha, you're being subjective in order to bump NaVi.
Anyway, your thread would make sense if 4 out of 5 EMEA teams were not in lower brackets at the moment. Reality is that no region is overpowered at this time.
You're coping hard, Giants will win Bind before OT. Giants just looked better tactically & overall and depended less on individual pop-offs to win important rounds. (this coming from someone that hoped EDG will win this and play PRX)
"Why EG didn't body shoot FNC in masters Tokyo?"
Demon1 did... ppl are dumb and seem to have selective memory that only fits their narrative. That's the real problem
