I'm willing to bet that no Riot resources are actually used for the development of the mobile version, that's only Tencent

Before the DRX match, most people/analysts were saying that it was the most in-form team this event. Does that answer your question?

Regardless of who comes from lower bracket, and regardless of who wins, at this point EG is a top3 team for 2023. After the top2 Tokyo and now Top3 Champs, there's simply no way around it

its going to be quite bad

No, it won't. Also, it won't be a hurricane by the time it reaches LA, but rather a tropical storm. Most impact that could occur is power outages.

I highly doubt it, considering how Riot approached the something situation. He's considered EMEA import even though nothing from his background has to do with EMEA. He's from Vladivostok, the epitome of Asian Russian (you can't really get more South East Asian than Vladivostok in Russia), considering Russia is an Eurasian country. They chose to make him EMEA based on a arbitrary reason, which seems to be that you can only have 1 classification, hence Derke would more than likely have to be one or the other, which would be Finnish.

You cannot have primary residence in two different countries. I can have 2 different passports and speak 2 different languages and fluent level (which I do), that still makes me Romanian, since that's where I was born and raised. My kids, both born and currently raised in Los Angeles, are both Americans, regardless of what I am, where I came from, what language is the first one they learned at home or if they have both US and Romanian passports.

You're confused on how things are classified.

I don't have the exact answer (otherwise I'd be super rich and not have "the time" to reply to you), but it's probably some combination of:
-human livable property in densely populated areas
-underdeveloped land in future potentially interest areas
-shares/stocks in health care & bio/climate stocks
-shares in tech/AI companies (maybe even some crypto if your risk potential can take it)
-and a small amount of high yield saving accounts/money markets for situations where you need available paper on-hand, while still having the money do work for you.

gold is losing value against other assets that can act as a better form of SoV. try finding another asset, the times of gold are slowly going away. The problem that you're trying to solve is a real problem indeed, but gold is not the solution. Precious metals overall have had a bad run for the last 6-8 years and are continuously losing share with younger generations

TIL that US has a national cricket team... lol thank you

and most players in American team are non resident Indians

Also, this is wrong. With an easy google search you can see that as of 2022, all cricket players on the American national team are either born in US to foreign parents or are US Residents. Your entire argument falls apart using this example.

Derke is born and raised in Finland, that makes him Finnish, regardless of his ancestry.

he was born and lives in finland

That makes him Finnish, with Russian descent

hmm... no it's not

the easiest way to display this is actually in the last few days.

EG vs EDG
LOUD vs FNATIC

Both matches same exact mirror comp, but:
different playstyles
different mid-rounding
different tactical approaches
different executions

Compare this with Split, where you can pick pretty much any agent comp, buy judges and win the map. Some ppl confuse tactical versatility of a map with what agent comp is being used. When quality Valorant is involved, Ascent is one of the most versatile maps to play, even with the same mirror comps.

Also let's be serious, the Ascent default comp is one of the best mid-rounding comp on any single map in the game. Some ppl are just tactically retarded it seems...

posted about a year ago

wut? you're braindead then, if you can't figure out the multitude of ways to play and mid-round Ascent.

I'd rather watch 10 Ascent matches between quality teams and same exact mirror comps where so many different approaches can be employed, than 2 matches of Split or Fracture with 4 different comps where everything still looks the same way, no matter what you do.

asking for Ascent to be removed is pretty much admitting that you're tactically low skilled

posted about a year ago

Ascent offers one of the most versatile styles, especially with good mid-rounding, even with the same fucking comp. You have no clue what you're saying. Who cares if you see the same comp when you can actually play it in so many different ways?

I swear, some ppl are just dumb and don't understand high quality map design and potential play

posted about a year ago

removing one of their best designed maps would be a braindead decision by Riot. u waffling hard

who cares that the same comp is mainly used? shit is fun to watch and play, period

posted about a year ago

fracture is a snooze-fest to watch, much like split

posted about a year ago

you misspelled fracture. pearl has 2 orbs

posted about a year ago

There's no way people complain about Ascent, one of the best designed maps and one of the most enjoyable to watch/play. Shitty map designs need to be removed, so Fracture and Pearl are well deserved to be removed. Split should be next.... just horrible designs.

posted about a year ago

there's nothing boring about ascent... one of the most enjoyable maps to watch and play, especially when quality mid-rounding is done by teams, you can have so many different approaches even with a "stale" comp

posted about a year ago

fracture, alongside split, are the worst designed maps in the pool.

ascent is a great designed map.

this is not even a matter of subjectivity/opinion... you're just wrong.

posted about a year ago

Because Ascent is a well designed map, which actually makes it fun to watch.

Who cares that the same agent comps are used most of the time? This opinion is so weird, people would rather see different agents used on maps instead of appreciating quality valorant.

posted about a year ago

fracture and split are actually bad designed maps. they should not be played at pro level, regardless of the fact that some teams make it work

breeze is a well designed map.

what agent compositions are used by teams on it should not and are not defining the quality of a map.

region thats been underdeveloped in FPS forever

You don't really know the history of FPS in China it seems... they had a good developed scene in the 2000s (during cs 1.5 and 1.6 era), they even hosted some huge events (eg: world cyber games, etc), on top of having some nutty teams & players (eg: Jungle, Savage, Alex, etc via wNv, tyloo, etc), this is the same era that gave Korea their best players, IGLs, coaches and teams (eg: glow, termi, solo, bail, etc via Lunatic-hai, projectKR, eSTRO, WeMadeFox, etc). They were actually viewed on a similar level with korean teams during the mid-late 2000s. That changed once the current political regime in China changed their attitude towards FPS games, and majority of players had to quit or switch to the secluded Chinese version of CS (counter-strike: online) or later CrossFire. That's when it started going down, not because it was underdeveloped, quite the contrary, FPS was huge in China. The problem is that until Valorant came out, there weren't many FPS games in the mid-late 2010s that would gotten approval by the Chinese gov.

You gotta google better next time before making such statements. I don't need to, I've lived through all of that quite closely, I actually know how it was.

they literally participated in LCQ and Champs 2022.... how's that a month ago? This argument of "they got the game a month ago" makes no sense, you know and I know it... it just sounded good for your narrative

posted about a year ago

While you're technically correct with almost everything you're saying... this is kinda bs:

a region that got the game a month ago

Chinese Valorant has been played at pro level since 2020 (on the Korean client), they were just not invited to official Riot tournaments until 2022. Heck, KangKang has been playing at pro level before some of the EG players have. https://www.vlr.gg/3006/vision-strikers-vs-royal-never-give-up-douyu-bie-zhuang-cup-season-1-playoffs-usf

He is the main oper, that's not the subject that was discussed here, it's undeniable. It's not pretty high FYI, most main awpers in CS have generally speaking higher percentage (since that's where you're getting that stat from), it's actually on the low spectrum of main awpers.

We were referring simply to the impact his op kills can have on his overall HS% in this series

posted about a year ago

technically ~22% . not sure what your point is, having 22% of the kills with OP is not a high percentage, that's an average of 5 OP kills per map out of avg 22 kills per map.

At this point I'm not sure if you're trolling or if you're that stupid.... but w/e

That's called a post-match conference, not post-match interview, seems like English is difficult for you as well.

All pre-match/post-match conferences had similar shit talking/narrative stories to them. Not surprised one bit, that's the point of having them, that's why Riot created them.

Again, grow a brain, please

45% with almost half the kills compared to Demon1. Not quite the same story, but still good

You seem like you like going in circles, we can end this convo here.

Cheers

There's trash talk but not at that level, because Riot would hand out fines for vulgarity like free candy. So if you want trash talk like that, it'll never happen in a Riot based/sponsored event, you'll need to watch another eSport

zombs was regarded the most clutchest person at that time

LOL, no he wasn't ... wut? the most clutch players in that SEN era were dapr and sick.

Seems like some people are getting lost in the narratives since 2021

posted about a year ago

It's just a reply to the narrative that EDG created in the pre-match hype video (where they called Demon1 fraud and failed). You're reading too much into it, it's just banter between the players.

Not sure what sport you're playing, but in football/soccer this is something that we learned to deal with from a very young age, playing both school and club level. Work on your mental game more

posted about a year ago

What's concerning here is that your high school mixes sports with prayers... very concerning

Also, you're missing the fact that narratives are just that... narratives. EG and EDG players get along pretty well, they had dinner yesterday. You sound very confused (gullible?) and probably the target audience for all the funny shit talking

posted about a year ago

40% HS rate is pretty insane at this level. but you're inflating something here... he only had 15 OP kills out of 67

posted about a year ago

they literally had dinner with edg players yesterday

also, Boostio in the post-match interview said EDG is actually a really good team.

you seem to be clueless and eat into the created narratives, they do these reactions for ppl like you....
