I think chances are that we 2-0 EDG because they're tired and all that but we shall see.

Regardless of the result in offseason, I have no doubts that we are going to cook this season.

posted 10 months ago

That he did! I'm not trying to downplay him at all, he played amazingly; I'm just trying to give more credit to the team as a whole because holy moly did they all look great. Even carpe with that sheriff ace!

posted 10 months ago

Thank you for the compliment! I get that a lot from my friends and it's just a trait I've assimilated at this point.

I understand, but I think we can make more civilized choices when choosing what we say/do to increase the fun/hype. I think instead of attacking the opposing team/region, we could just say encouraging things for our team. For example, instead of having "SHITMEA fans come", I think we could have more "Let's go T1" or "NT Liquid"

I try.

Some people are like that. The most I can do is to not be like those people.

posted 10 months ago

I mean, while I am an EMEA fan and a Team Liquid fan, I am a Valorant fan first, so regardless of the team succeeding, even if it's my team winning, I will never flame the other team. I play Valorant, and I've lost many times. I've also encountered countless toxic players, and I know how disheartening it is to recieve negative feedback from other people. Which is why, I would never say anything remotely close to something like "LMAO EZ ASSIFIC". I know there are people like that, but I swear on my bloodline that I will never say anything toxic.

posted 10 months ago

EMEA's 2nd best team TL lost to a Tier 1 APAC team... Rossy just happens to be a player on that team...

posted 10 months ago

No shot you're saying that after watching them beat both EDG and TL...

posted 10 months ago

Calm down it was a good series.

posted 10 months ago

If this actually happens then I will break my pledge to TL and start supporting another team.

posted 10 months ago

Haha, yeah they're definitely not having a great time but considering that T1 is goated now I can't really complain much.

posted 10 months ago

I think that's obvious, but regardless, they're still quite the solid team. NAVI have always been a question mark tbh. On paper they should be great but they've just never done as well as they're expected to.

posted 10 months ago

I understand. My opinion isn't always correct and my inherent EMEA bias can't always be removed from anything I do. Perhaps you're right, and I do concede that I don't watch enough T2 APAC, so my judgement on it isn't very well-founded.

  1. SEN
  2. PRX
  3. T1
  4. TL
  5. DRX
  6. EDG
  7. FS
  8. FCY
posted 10 months ago

I'm not sure.. I'd place them 4th behind T1 and in front of DRX

posted 10 months ago

Nice try ig.

posted 10 months ago

It's off season it's okay. (welcome to my copium lab)

posted 10 months ago

In my opinion:

  1. EMEA (Look at Fnatic, Liquid, etc)
  2. Americas (Sentinels look good, so does Lev to an extent.)
  3. APAC (T1 looks goods so far. I don't know if either PRX or DRX is taking off season seriously.)
  4. Americas T2 (I've seen some good stuff out of M80 and G2 and those other teams)
  5. EMEA T2
  6. APAC T2
    China (teams unannounced)
    China T2 (teams unannounced)
posted 10 months ago

I mean, they're both interesting countries so ig it makes sense.

posted 10 months ago

TL looks pretty good, but I'd prefer to see them doing much better tbh considering that they're a team expected to challenge for EMEA title.

posted 10 months ago

I guess not all Chinese people support China huh?

Thank you Zahk. I'm glad all my years spent taking creative writing class hasn't been a waste.

PRX 2-1 DRX I guess

posted 10 months ago

Bro is actually garbage! He's so overrated it isn't even funny at this point. Had some shining moments in the Euros but that's about it. Even went to fricking PSG lmao. We'd do better with Vicario in goal or smth.

posted 10 months ago

I wouldn't say that. I'm sure they have tactics but tbh it does seem like they're just going through the motions instead of actually making any intelligent plays. It could also be the case that T1 just studied EDG hard. it isn't hard to believe considering the massive swaths of EDG vods accessible. But yeah xccurate played absolutely stunningly.

posted 10 months ago

I don't believe I ever said that Fancy is Chinese. However, I am still practicing writing in english and do sincerely apologize if I've created any misunderstandings for you. I'm sorry.

posted 10 months ago

I mean, anyone following the CN scene would know how EDG is at the moment. They're tired, they have countless vods to review for other teams, and their form is generally not at its highest right now. I had belief in EDG coming into this series but I think that belief is well placed considering EDG's achievements.

posted 10 months ago

You're very correct. Today we saw the EDG members playing most of their roles, with nobody and Smoggy switching roles on Lotus, which I disagree with just a bit.

posted 10 months ago

Team Liquid should be winning this. I expect success.
2-1 TL.

posted 10 months ago

EDG should win this. I suspect that their loss against T1 is mainly due to two reasons: 1. mental fatigue/some form of burnout. They've played over 6 tournaments in the past 5 months, which imo is more than enough to have a visible effect on the team's mental and gameplay. 2. going against other chinese teams. Let's get this straight; the other chinese teams aren't that good in comparison to teams that have played international tournaments. T1 is one such team, and after getting what I believe to be upgrades to their roster, they're looking very sharp.
I don't know too much about Fancy, but given that they're not a tier 1 team, I find it hard to imagine them winning this one. Of course, anything can happen in Valorant, especially given that EDG's in a dip of form. But regardless, I think we'll be a seeing an EDG 2-0.

posted 10 months ago

T1 played extraordinary today and EDG played… pretty average NGL. Not at all like how they usually perform, and I guess off days come for everyone. Regardless, T1 is looking really strong right now and if this continues I can’t see how they wouldn’t be a top APAC team. Very good match.

posted 10 months ago

EDG are definitely favorites to win here. If rossy appears and plays well, they might end up with a scoreline unlike the 13-9 we saw last time at the TEN invitational. Additionally, EDG's built up quite a bit of ambitious momentum imo after winning their last 4 domestic tournaments. If EDG is able to use their individual player's abilities to the fullest, we could see a clean sheet win (not dropping a single map) similar to how the RA grand final match went.

Very likely EDG 2-0 win but once again, T1 has a chance of making a convincing attempt at winning.

posted 10 months ago

That's a bit too harsh no? It really isn't as terrible as you make it seem...

posted 10 months ago

lol it's a football saying used when someone knows ball.

ex:
Person1: "Man, Donnarumma is a absolutely horrendous, ghastly excuse of a goalkeeper!"
Person2: "So true! You know ball."

or
Person3: "Does Person1 even watch football?"
Person2: "Yeah, he knows ball."

posted 10 months ago

That's a fair take.

posted 10 months ago

You build a team of players and get points depending on their performances.

posted 10 months ago

Americas: Sentinels - Leviatan
EMEA: Fnatic - Team Liquid
APAC: PRX - DRX
China: EDG - TE/RA

posted 10 months ago

I'm sorry.

posted 10 months ago

It seems to me that the main point of disagreement by OP is that Tenz is on smokes. The title is also vague and ambiguous to some extent. Regardless, I can see what you're getting at and I concur that different perspectives and interpretations can lead to different understandings of the same content. Cheers!!

posted 10 months ago

But SEN were not the favourites to win... regardless, they played well and deserved to win.

posted 10 months ago

They're just questioning Tenz's role not his spot on the starting roster.

posted 10 months ago

Damn but still 2 timeouts in three maps is amazing
