I have an odd accent, I have a mix of a Donegal accent and an Antrim accent so it doesn't sound too much like the sterotypical Irish accent. But yes, I think I read everything in my own accent and that has just fucked with my head, thanks for that

The Dark Hedges is the one that comes to mind first, used in GoT. Another one is Skellig Michael, used in Star Wars, both beautiful places to visit
Irish nights out to pubs last a lot longer than what I seen when I visited America, we go out about 7 or 8 and we're out until maybe 2am, we're used to drinking for hours and hours and especially when people are in Uni, we drink to pass the time
Lots of Eoin's(Irish Owen), James', Conor's and Sean's
For female probably Erin, Emma and Caoimhe (pronounced kee-va)
used to live on a farm but was a cow farm and microwave fries were my best friend in my first year of Uni
I live in the North which is part of the UK but I can also speak for the South as I used to live there and I have a lot of family there, visit them every couple of weeks
Thanks man, Aer Lingus is the reason I love to visit Scotland because they're dirt cheap
Every single one of his fights, everyone at my school would be coming into school on no sleep because they stayed up to watch his fight at 3 in the morning
I wont say I celebrated but I had a fantastic night at the pub that night
Every day, baked potatoes are fucking delicious
Ireland is best probably around June time, it's just before school is over and just before most tourism comes in but it is still warm. Ireland is very tourist friendly, no matter what you want to do and where you go.
Extra 6th - Irish people generally have a love for exploring other countries and their culture
English, about half of Irish people can't speak more than a few words of Irish
Depends on which part of the country you're in. I am currently re-learning Irish as it was only taught for 3 years for me in the North. Over in Donegal, a lot of people speak fluent Irish especially on the coast. Down South it is taught for many years but most people don't remember too much of it after a while and by the time you're done university, you can't speak too much unless you actively study it. It's sadly a dying language and less and less people speak it every year.
Its alright outside of the 2 big cities of Belfast and Dublin, can be really expensive in those cities especially housing. Living out in the country it's fairly easy but it is still more expensive than a good bit of Europe.
Irish food is a little rough imo other than a good Irish breakfast, best breakfast in the world
Ireland comes from the word Éire, which comes from another word in Old-Irish that means land, which is also where the name Erin comes from (Éireann in Irish)
Irish history - Michael Collins
Nowadays - I don't even have to say his name do I?
I am from the North and this is very, very common among the place that I live lmao
Really long history with Ireland and the British as you can tell
generally yes
99.9% most people you will meet will be friendly, say hello to you and ask where you're from if they can tell you aren't Irish but can't tell where you're from.
Since everyone is doing this, if you have any questions about Ireland go ahead and ask literally anything.
Inspired by QIQ, who made a similar thread on Japan
been learning japanese along with german and irish over the past year, just wanted to ask how st patricks day been over there? Seen some stories that it has been growing in popularity within certain areas of Tokyo but not too sure on if it is just a small thing
the players with the best aim should be the sentinel player imo, works for loud and fnatic with less and alfa
fuck it Gen.G yay, thats why they've been so quiet
to add to this, I see the light of the sata ssd going out, would that mean it is definitely a power issue?
I was thinking my power supply might just be faulty, it has been really loud for a long time now. Gonna try use different sata cables and a different sata port to see if it stays on
So I got a new SSD for my pc and it works for about 10 minutes then when it is in use, my pc stutters and it disconnects. Not showing up in file explorer or disk partition. No idea what is wrong. Please help
they also need to make money and the easiest way is to get those twitter impressions up
C9 surprised me this year after dropping vanity + yay and managing to come back to look like the best team in NA for a small period of time, disappointing we didnt get to see them at champs after the reverse sweep
luckily played CS for many years and learned a decent amount of russian playing in russian 5 stacks so it isnt even that bad
Stockholm servers have always been the best type of servers even for people playing over in Ireland or UK, people on London servers are playing with their feet
if someone plans to play one game of valorant and go somewhere but the game is stuck in OT, it is better to draw than have to play 4v5 and most likely lose RR because your teammate had to go
havent got around to the story mode yet but the combo freedom and skill expression is such a nice breath of fresh air from MK11 where everything was very same-y
back to cs, think ive seen him do a decent amount of gambling content and gambling streams
same with a lot of people about runner, most people outside of EMEA havent heard the name so that obsiously means he is shit (??)
demon1 and alfajer were both tier 2 players before joining their teams and they are now the top 2 players in the world
reminder that EG was a joke team this time last year, literally any team could be the next champs
fixing a roster that aint broken is the sentinels specialty
For some reason I remember him doing badly last season but his stats are much better than I thought, especially towards the end of the season. Hope he keeps up with the rest of the team because Vitality could be a serious contender for that #2 spot this year. I remember he went off some games so he definitely has the potential and I feel like I remember him performing pretty well on LDN UTD/OGLU but that was a pretty long time ago so maybe I just don't remember right.
Someone that can work very closely with boaster and bring new innovations to their play, no idea who could do that tbh
0 world sliggy goes back to the stress of coaching
PRX losing Champs was good for avoiding the Champs winner curse, that's about it
would that be an english speaking team or what would happen with communication?
Probably all getting pay cuts but EG might be the most drastic one right after they won Champs. Imagine going from the best team in the world to the lowest paid team in your region
