This is cool, but I don't like having international events only take place in national cities. It's probably just me but I prefer places like Istanbul, Shanghai, and Toronto
I haven't tried them outright but I have tried them in a jam, more specifically the cloudberry jam from IKEA, which incidentally is by far the best jam I've ever had. (Also fun fact: my Riot tag is cloudberry#ikea, which is a direct reference to this.)
Imagine a strawberry but with a more citrusy flavour, and with seeds like the ones in raspberries but bigger. That's essentially what they taste like. Definitely recommend trying them!
Cloudberries require very specific soil conditions to grow and flourish. As such, they can only be found in very specific parts of Canada, namely the boreal forest regions in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as certain parts of northern Quebec.
It wasn't memorable for me personally, honestly. But it is no doubt one of the most memorable Olympic games to ever take place. Paris 2024 has changed the way cities think about hosting the Olympic games forever. Cities will shift from spending billions upon billions building one-time stadiums and arenas to setting up temporary venues in memorable locations like Paris did.
It's insane that we're already complaining about next season when this season hasn't even ended yet
I'd love to be able to load replays from the esports tab in-game (maybe attached to the games themselves in the schedule) and see the game from different perspectives, whether that be players or free cam.
I think so too. If they can pull off one of the most memorable Olympics games of all time, then they can definitely manage to make an esports tournament hype
"1st isn't enough. I want 1st AND 2nd."
This guy is unbelievably good
He wasn't too far off with London, either. It's pretty much just across a channel
Montevideo could work
I want that just to see how they'd brand it
The United States of Zero
Excuse me?
Fair. Glasgow, maybe? Would be cool because Clove, I guess
Idk but honestly I'd rather elsewhere in either country. Liverpool and Lyon, for example
Honestly fair. If you're gonna go that far northwest, though, then I'd rather Helsinki
Honey is crazy (why are you the second person to call me honey on VLR in the past four days)
Kinda mean. They were one game away from Champs
Imma be honest... of all the places to hold a Masters in Ukranie, Luhansk is not one that would to mind
Lmaoooo
Nah I'm just offering to help. I don't have any good methods of payment, anyway
I'm down to make the thumbnails for you if you want (I have a background in graphic design and have worked on branding for two different schools and several school clubs, as well as an independent robotics team and multiple bedroom electronic music artists and labels, which includes banners and album covers)
Clowning on two of my favourite teams in one fell swoop. Do you really have nothing better to do?
Dunno why but I'd rather somewhere like Sochi or Volvograd
True. Toronto alone isn't that cool, but when you consider the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) it becomes a lot more enticing.
If they held a Masters in Manchester or something would you go dressed in a tuxedo, top hat, and monocle, holding a cup of green tea with your pinky out
Who makes the thumbnails btw? Because I'm really not sure how to feel about them
It's not mickey mouse. The KICK//OFF format is balanced with an even number of teams and a double elimination bracket. Only the best performing teams of the early season will qualify
Also if he doesn't wanna fly it's only an 8 hour drive from NY
You can't count a team out a year in advance. If anyone said last year that Team Heretics would've made top 4 at Champions they probably would've been mocked all day long. It's impossible to predict how a team will do without knowing anything about what the roster will look like, what their read on the meta will be, how the meta favours them to begin with, nor how well they play each other.
At the very least Gentle Mates is a full French roster
Karmine Corp, Team Vitality, and Gentle Mates are all French orgs. Also I think Team Liquid is pretty popular in France as well.
School starts, you lock in, you get insanely high grades
Thanks to you for starting these threads, dude. They're honestly a breath of fresh air for me when it comes to this forum :)
I imagine the vines are kind of like a Sage slow orb, only cast on the ground instead of as a projective. Would also make sense if they damage/vulnerable you, since they are thorns
N4RRATE gives me Lucario vibes
If you don't like it, you can just not watch it, you know. But there are people who genuinely like listening to this kind of stuff, so downplaying that just because it isn't your taste is kind of dumb, especially when it's to the very people running the podcast
