Idk much about NRG's internal roles but surely they have at least a couple vocal players

posted 8 months ago

He g'Adam all

posted 8 months ago

Look at artziN, f0rsakeN, nobody, Saadhak (historically), etc. it's definitely possible to be a secondary duelist as igl

posted 8 months ago

This is true, yeah. It's a "technically" situation more than anything. You can definitely say 3 inexperienced 2 experienced and I don't think anyone can argue that

posted 8 months ago

Primary duelist, yes, but secondary duelist has historically been ok to call on, especially if the igl is just flexing onto it

posted 8 months ago

Why not? Ethan's better at Yoru than he is on Omen iirc

All 3 teams were in regional playoffs to make Masters sometime during the year
Luminosity + Knights in Stage 1: https://www.vlr.gg/event/799/champions-tour-north-america-stage-1-challengers
Luminosity + Ghost in Stage 2: https://www.vlr.gg/event/800/champions-tour-north-america-stage-2-challengers/playoffs

Yeah for sure. Even my definition of it is a bit selective tbh because I don't think I'd honestly consider Gamelanders Blue or Liberty tier 1 teams

posted 8 months ago

I think it's fine to have different definitions of what a tier 1 team back in 2022 actually was. Imo though, if you play in both stages of the year, make it to playoffs at least once, come only a couple games away from an international, and consistently face off against teams such as LOUD, MIBR, FURIA, VKS, Keyd, NIP, etc. then you're probably a tier 1 team

posted 8 months ago

True, he was on NIP in 2022. Actually, though, tuyz wasn't a rookie either... he was on TBK the previous year, which was another Masters contending team from Brazil

posted 8 months ago

None of them are

  • mada was on Luminosity in 2022
  • skuba was on Knights in 2022
  • brawk was on Ghost Gaming in 2022

All 3 of those teams played in direct qualifiers for NA to make Masters events

valyn imo

posted 8 months ago

Who, you? Yeah, you're definitely baiting

"He has opinions that aren't mine? Does he even keep up the game?"

posted 8 months ago

Ok delighted

posted 8 months ago

So are you just flexing being in a relationship as if it's not a totally normal thing that applies to a lot of people, oooor...?

posted 8 months ago

But again, why would he say that

posted 8 months ago

Why would he want his favourite player to leave his favourite team

This is cool but honestly (nitpicking here) I'd rather Mazino Fade and Saadhak Viper

posted 8 months ago

I like valyn but no, my favourite player is Saadhak. Good guess though :)

posted 8 months ago

...yeah no, I don't like this

posted 8 months ago

It's mainly pasta (usually mini shells), yogurt, little bits of ground beef, and a bunch of spices

posted 8 months ago

I'd 100% be for it if not for the potential language barrier

EMEA/AMER, depends tbh

What would Saadhak play?

posted 8 months ago

Haven't had lunch yet but I'll probably have some leftover yogurt pasta

posted 8 months ago

As much as I hate Real Madrid, I genuinely hope Marseille never wins another game ever again. This club does not deserve any success, not after they way they've been treating their players for the past several years

posted 8 months ago

He's on lunch break from his job lmao

posted 8 months ago

N4RRATE is another exception ^^

posted 8 months ago

JitBoyS (not my least favourite team, but I don't like any players on those teams so)

posted 8 months ago

Nah, I just kinda groan in annoyance

posted 8 months ago

Nice pick'ems :)

Now show us your Champs ones so far

posted 8 months ago

No. In-game client doesn't use matchups anyway, it uses where teams place in the group

posted 8 months ago

Just did some math with @nobody___100:

  • Out of 41,556 pick'ems registered on VLR, only 3 of them are still perfect after 8 games
  • If you flipped a coin for every game, you'd have a 1 in 256 chance of getting everything right
  • If all 41,556 people chose randomly we'd have 162 perfect pick'ems (54x as many as we have now)

We as a society are horrible at pick'ems

posted 8 months ago

Ok so how did nAts do at Champs 2021?

Oh wait

posted 8 months ago

+1, cheese makes literally everything better

posted 8 months ago

That's true, mb. What I meant to say is that leaf played throughout the entirety of 2 of them

posted 8 months ago

Two of those three trophies were with leaf btw

Upsets happen in sports all the time (e.g. the only reason Venezuela's out of World Cup contention is because Bolivia beat Brazil somehow)

Because they're good or smth idk
