They have discipline problems when there's teams with individuals playing at a similar mechanical skill level
In the off season, I can believe they will bounce back. I can excuse coming in 2nd LCQ bc of VOD review and low prep time but the amount of bad performances and getting owned by KOI and even almost KC was too much to believe that in 2 weeks they'll come back

the other two EMEA teams were disappointing but overall the placements were similar. plus in LCQ many EMEA teams improved except for NAVI whereas many Americas teams other than KRU look like they stagnated. there is no superior region, teams win games, not regions.

Giants look good. KC, TH and KOI improved quite a bit. NAVI, SEN, 100T and C9 look like they didn't do any work before LCQ.

PRX got decimated by FNC, they just have some anti aggro strats that EG don't have. I still think EG have the highest chance to take on FNC but they have to play 5 players on absolute apex form throughout Champs.

Yes but it's way better than CS. They either are terminated if blatant, and even if suspicious you stand a good chance at winning. Typically they might try to keep their HS around 40 mid ELO (asc/dia). In Imm it's hard to fake it.

Rito also has yet to ban known hackers like Alfajer (aimlock), Leo (known waller since 2015), Derke (movement script), Chronicle (awareness hack), Boaster (headphone backdoor software).

NRG played FNC and EDG played LOUD though. Also I have to disagree, EDG shows a lot of versatility and flexibility in their play even if there's some holes in their game still. NRG adapts somewhat slow, esp with their recent Bind performance. That won't cut it especially if your firepower isn't as high, its quite crazy they even got so far as each of the games you named were 2-1 or 1-2, EDG really shaped up and made it rough for other teams to even take a map, including LOUD.

Water parks, 6 flags, street scene (cars, fashion, art) is pretty dope. Austin/Houston has a better nightlife. Texas in general is big, gotta drive everywhere, 20m to get around the city, 3-4h to get major city to major city in good traffic. Best food in the nation tho, especially the Chinatowns and Indiatowns. Agree its a place to live not to visit, good jobs, low prices.

Disagree. 100T is that bad. C9 I can understand. Also many t2 teams IMHO are better than some of the franchising teams. The Guard IMHO is on par with C9/NRG in the same way Apeks and Acend alike would finish top 3-4 in their region as it stands. TL and NRG are about on par, not surprising since they are region's top 3, the skill in the regions aren't that far apart, stop trolling just because FNC is so far beyond other teams.

TL doesn't really have a player talent problem other than maybe redcar, need to fix the strats up they overcook too much. Trexx would be a beast on TL though.

Apeks would clear all Americas LCQ teams except maybe C9 and absolutely demolish 100T

Keep Nivera on smokes, TakaS is a better awper, LogaN is a beast sentinel. If they can get Enzo it would be nice but never gonna happen. They can run double duelist like PRX, it might work.

I'm NA and fairly certain CN is a nutty region, huge talent pool, crazy work ethic, big incentive to play, EDG was playing no different than the other chinese teams until they started winning on the international stage and improving their calling, stratbook. Idk if it will be better than NA in a year but no one knows for sure, I just see a lot of potential and so do others like Sliggy

kk does both, the aggro/attack op is just his signature style. awping is all about control it's situational depending on what the team needs, it's scary to turn a corner you don't expect an awper to and kill you then disappear without a trade because your team isn't positioned for it, it's also control

ngl NAVI does the sit around mid for a whole minute, FNC is on top of the game in terms of strats and sometimes TL is cookin but most other teams idek what they're thinking sometimes; a shame since the firepower is crazy on some of those teams and should've done way better at masters

Once more CN teams get international arena experience they will get better drastically. Catching up is easier than staying on the bleeding edge.

sure it depends on what you're looking for tho, i'd weight recent performance higher though because competition is way tougher recently but if we're talking just contributing to grabbing a trophy i get that, maybe some people are weighting their mechanics, which is why i gotta put him up there

i think you need to at least honorable mention kangkang from recent performance.

People pay f2p games for the same reason as people play non f2p games. Genshin and Roblox arent esports. Esports are still niche and accessible without a big barrier to entry since it can be streamed. Regular sports fans pay on average 80USD a year on merch alone, I could probably count on my hand the number of times I've seen a person wear any related to league as an esport or a valorant chair or something.
