doomed to have a target on their backs all year after they come into 2025 shitting on everyone
I dont understand why they drop the Sage on Icebox, the pick got an amazing winrate.
Probably because even if she's good, it feels uncomfortable for teams to run double sentinel (since KJ is practically mandatory) instead of Sova + Gekko or Viper + Harbor.
I would like to see a T1 team run Sage and no duelist on Icebox but I don't know if that will happen
I'll root for them too if they live up to expectations and get that French momentum into champs
Exactly but it's a misleading term because those teams rarely actually win anything, so how are they "super" other than having high expectations?
Who do we think will play sentinel?
They probably run tuyz/pancada double controller everywhere viable, but beyond that...? Would pancada be perma smokes and tuyz flex? Does v1nny pick up senti and tuyz plays initiator?
It's such a dumb and misleading term. I get the idea that it's a team frankensteined together with top-rated players from each role, but that's not how any trophy-winning team in val has worked.
But my point is that the real "superteams" (i.e. the ones that win it all) are rarely called superteams until they win things.
They're usually just any other competitive team that grinds their way up and fixes their issues over time. They're not a random lineup of "star players" from each role assembled at the start of the year.
"star player" and "superteam" don't mean shit other than just those players being subjectively good, and a lot of the time it's that they were good on a specific team with specific chemistry and strats that they no longer have.
Is EDG a superteam? Is 2023 EG? What about 2022 LOUD? Because they definitely weren't considered as such until they actually won things, and now their players are in high demand.
So LOUD is dgzin, v1nny IGL, cauanzin, tuyz, and pancada? Ooo my LOUD flair is coming back
Note that this was only tested on 1v1 games and the paper specifically states more testing needs to be done to see if it applies to team-based games. I don't know if that research has been done.
G2 is far and above the rest if they get jawgemo
It's based solely on total number of comments/posts.
This could actually cook
man when did one of the only two LATAM teams become kiNgg + EG players
This agent is never getting picked. What changes do y'all think we'll see?
I think the ult should either have way more range or also apply a slow effect. Flash probably needs to be placed faster too.
Real talk have there been any leaks or confirmed changes? I swear I've heard literally nothing
Wait they're cooking with this. I hope Melser stays
Also what's the deal with KRÜ? Do we know their roster?
Wait just to be clear, is LOUD gonna be cauanzin, tuyz, pancada, v1nny, and one of Sato/dgzin as duelist? Who will the IGL be?
Call for util before going onto site, have your teammates split/slow push if you're having trouble getting through main, don't be afraid to lurk if none of the above is working
I saw a post on their official insta page, idk if it's elsewhere
I love how threads like these randomly get necro'd and become active again
Pokemon Platinum
Maplestory
Mario Kart Double Dash
Dark Souls 2
Zelda
Fire Emblem (the only franchise I keep up with now tbh)
come on man that's a lot of energy for a game
tbh yeah that could happen, tho I think the counter to 2/3+ initiator is double controller, since more smokes creates more danger zones which pressure initiators to burn util sooner
Dambi's second highest combat score this tournament was with Jett on icebox
How I think every agent could be nerfed if Riot wanted to. I'll try to keep it balanced. This is just for fun and not serious suggestions.
Jett: smoke takes like 0.5s longer to bloom
Neon: strafe speed reduced, stun lasts shorter
Raze: reduced damage from first nade explosion
Yoru: lower duration on both flash effects
Sova: reduced duration of drone ping
Gekko: 10s longer cooldown on the lil pals
Kay/o: wind-up of flashes is louder
Omen: paranoia travels slower, smoke duration reduced by 2s
Cypher: trip gives a single-point ping rather than a constant scan, cam pings twice instead of indefinitely until removed, 7 point ult
KJ: max distance at which turret can detect enemies reduced
tbh nobody else would get nerfed
think the kitchen was left smoldering with this one
I mean yeah but this thread is just for fun (I hope)
I'd rather Skye get a stronger dog than get flashes that are more and better than the other initiators, which is the reason she was OP to begin with. Maybe just give dog the same speed as Thrash since it has such low HP anyway
The main buff Harbor needs is for high tide to have a shorter cooldown and either be much longer or be placed remotely on the map. His area of influence is so much smaller than every other controller for no good reason.
idk if you're being serious but this is a great way for 20 agents to never be picked again
Exactly like maybe neon meta is exactly what we need for more sentinel agents to become relevant instead of double initiator spam
Maybe use utility and don't stand there in the open like BME seems to be doing a lot
People have insane recency bias to think an agent that can't get off the ground is better than prime Jett and Chamber
I don't think they're capable of coming up with anything else
EMEA knowers, is M8 cooking? I wanna root for them idk why
Honestly this is the thing yeah. Losing in daycare lobbies is a skill issue but they're also just not fun regardless
So he gave mibr their first map and furia their second win 💀
Idk if I would go that far. Even if saadhak were to be a washed IGL, is cauanzin really better?
