A lot of people counterstrafe just because of CSGO instincts but in Valorant, you can simply just let go of your WASD key. You can also slow peek by crouching every second or so while holding your movement key. Typically, you can get a pick off like this because an AWP will almost always win a direct 1v1 with another gun. Usually when retaking, there's a player playing long and might even peek towards spike occassionally, which can be a free pick if you time yourself. You can also be a bit risky and entry with an AWP while your teammates watch other angles for you (tho this isn't recommended).
Also high ranked players are great and all (like plat-dia +) but a lot of them dry peek an AWP because there are a lack of callouts in a ranked game.
In terms of improving your awp, you need to improve your reaction time and flicking for the most part. You can do that in the range by flicking towards bots (on practice). As for reaction time, only experience, a better monitor, and lower ping can help with that lmao.
Awping during retakes is decently risky since it isn't CS where you can make a quick play with the AWP. Its probably best if you picked up a rifle for retake but the AWP can work if you can get a pick off someone trying to play long or trying to hold an angle on CT while you are playing heaven.
Where is Wedid going? I would say to the moon.
Wardell has Jett, Sage, and Raze in his arsenal for pro play.
Drone is far better at phoenix. Subroza's phoenix is weak and ineffective at entrying.
Brax wasn't a great IGL because he wasn't really great at giving coms to his teammates.
You can't, but there are many screenshots taken from streamers that have TSM ppl friended. Most notable ones are 13-3 against NRG, 9-2 against GenG (with Nature and before end of half), and 13-6 against 100t.
Subroza was a very weak phoenix even back in TSM's prime so subroza being put off of duelist wouldn't be a problem. Drone was always flexible between duelists and other agents so him being put off of duelist wouldn't have much impact.
I meant replace hazed not subroza since hazed is the one igling and I think his igling abilities are questionable.
Yeah that was always our biggest issue other than overall strats (wardell awping on offense as a jett and subroza aggressively pushing everything without any great reason). If Tarik were to ever play pro valorant, I'd think he's the best pickup for TSM IGL wise.
Doubt it unless soniqs is playing Rise or BBG. NRG looked strong last tournament but with time they'll be good. TSM's reformation is especially promising with what people have been hearing.
I think this is fine for now but Hazed's mid-round calling abilities is still questionable in my eyes.
I don't think I've ever seen you make a post
Most of the time its a joke tho but I guess its a bit excessive.
I guess I could understand that perspective. The entrance to split is pretty bad and crowded.
1) Ascent
2) Haven
3) Split
4) Icebox
5) Bind
6) Breeze (mostly cause it hasn't been played yet in pro play and most people aren't too great at this map yet in ranked (50/50 win rate for most ppl)).
I don't get the hate for split too much. It is very CT sided for sure but I think it's a decent map overall. Bind on the other hand is just absolute garbage in its design, especially the usage of teleporters.
I had a feeling it was about the LCS team. Didn't they lose to 100t this week as well?
yeah fr. People are downvoting on wardell without any reason.
Dazed wasnt that great of an strategist for T1, even without factoring in the social aspects to his IGLing
cNed, Tenz, Wardell, Shahzam, Sick, Nitr0, Scream, Asuna, Sacy, Sinatraa, Buzz are all my initial picks.
Sometimes a delay isn't enough. But yeah, it is petty of those who complain about it but do nothing to stop it.
He's a young talent that should be invested in.
YES! For me, that was the best rivalry out of them all. Sentinels vs 100t wasn't much of anything because 100t couldn't really beat Sentinels. TSM vs Sentinels is a classic.
George Geddes announced (recently~2 days ago) on a twitter post regarding Brax and TSM + other valorant roster changes. He was stating that Bang was doing really well in scrims which implies that he is all but confirmed on the TSM roster.
EDIT: was meant to reply to the guy above me lol
George Geddes announced (recently~2 days ago) on a twitter post regarding Brax and TSM + other valorant roster changes. He was stating that Bang was doing really well in scrims which implies that he is all but confirmed on the TSM roster. Looking at the few screenshots we have, seems like this TSM is a top contender once again.
Shahzam has been the most successful and effective IGL as of yet
Most people don't have soniqs but the declaration of being top 4 within 6 months would draw attention. Also, since they were the number 1 team from Oceania competing against NA for the first time, it was nice to see a clash of regions.
I don't think you've seen anyone from the coastal areas or city areas. The disparity in America pertaining to education is huge.
Neymar plays csgo and his inventory is around $40,000.
A lot of ppl get stars from responding to bait threats.
They don't but keeping up to date with tournaments and participating in a semi-major is not something they want to miss out on.

I heard the score was 13-3 but the screenshot above shows the 9-1 half.
Yeah I do too! Been watching valorant since the beginning and it sucks to see them start so slow this year. Though, the results of these scrims bring some hope.
So after their failures during challengers 3, they have picked up Bang and Chet + benched brax(?) and cutler.
Looks like scrim results were extremely positive. NRG was losing 9-1 on Shahzams stream today and GenG was losing 9-1 like 2 weeks ago. 100T lost like 13-6 a few weeks ago too. Keep in mind, these are crushing scores.
I know scrims doesn't translate to actual gameplay but it's a fairly good start. Daps went on twitter to comment on how TSM should be a first seed for Berlin. Idk, I'm just extremely hopeful as a TSM fan.
NA is going to be total disaster in terms of predictions. Practically every team has made a roster change except for 100t and sorta sentinels (technically they just signed TenZ). It'll be difficult to predict for NA.
No one said flashy, but everything he does is predictable and nothing makes him standout. He isn't that great of an AWPER nor rifler in comparison to other Jett players. So what makes him a T1 pro if he isn't better than other T1 jett's? Why would any T1 org want to pick up someone who's subpar compared to others in the scene?
Dicey is an average jett player to be honest. None of his plays are spectacular. They are all plays by the book.
I guess but G2 show a lot of promise regardless of these "early struggles." The players and talent that they have should be a dominant one.
G2 is experimenting with Yoru at the moment so they might seem a bit weaker than they should.
I think ABX should be able to take out Vikings and potentially Nuturn.
