It is crazy how Sentinels are 6-0 right now in maps in Iceland but drop maps to teams in NA. Tier 2 NA teams > the world?

You can argue for "the valorant world", but lots of very good pros are playing csgo instead of valorant. That said, you can only beat what's put in front of you! Also I don't think it's that crazy, one of the themes of Iceland has been NA and EU playing viper/astra and the other regions struggling to adapt. The one time they played EU, fnatic almost took icebox off of them and most would back fnatic against the likes of ANDBOX.

Edit: forgot icebox was fnatic's map loool mbmb, ice cold take

Fnatic came close to giving a challenge to sentinels, ofc couldn't beat them but that was the first EU vs NA we saw, if that match came close, think how it would go if Fnatic were to fight Sentinels again in Grand Finals. I wonder who makes it to the GF but imo Fnatic as a team might show a different result if we see the match happen again as every team has evolved and adapted in some way or the other.

i dont know but i have a feeling that sen would defeat fnatic cause now sick regained his confidence and if fragging like hell and when he has his confidence he really takes the game away but at the same moment fnatic also experienced the lethal tenz and shazam and the addition of sick to this list makes me feel that sen have a upper hand and how could i forget dapr he also has been stepping up lately compared to the first match .

It’s cause sen don’t take the less important games seriously. They prepare very little, they play their game, and they don’t worry about being the best in the region against lesser teams because they don’t need to expend that level of effort to win.

IMO, teams from North America have often played against Sentinels. not only when competing, players from North American teams often play with sentinels players while playing rank in Valorant. so, they know enough about their tactics, strategies and how to play. Of course, sentinels definitely change their tactics every time they meet an opposing team, but maybe only a little. and, cannot be compared to teams from outside North America, who are playing with them for the first time (Sentinels). Do you think Andbox or BBG (the team that beat the Sentinels), is better than Fnatic or Vikings, or Nuturn?

I think ABX should be able to take out Vikings and potentially Nuturn.

The NA team, Sentinels, won the entire Masters 2 tournament, because they were competing at a higher level way before Valorant appeared. So, better understanding and fundamentals won the game. While in Europe, the Valorant scene is made up by Tier 2/ Tier 3 players.

But things are starting to change and organisations to invest more money in the scene. So we shall see about this during Masters 3, in Berlin.

Also sentinels approached iceland with lots of prep, Tenz in full form etc. They also cared more and perform under pressure
