wardell's watching the frod stream (you can't access it now) so if anyone's interested, go to his stream.
Dunno if this is a troll post or not
Scrims are still good indicators of what could potentially happen. Definitely, don't take the results as definitive of what will happen.
Sinatraa has like a long contract with sentinels. He won't be signed to any team for awhile.
Its not defending rapists but moreso waiting for a "true conclusion" to be put out rather than something thats only 75% the way done.
Sounds like you didn't watch valorant during the summer
Korea being a farmers league is interesting. EU being MLS is just wrong on so many levels.
V1's a solid team but they seem to be a team that loses the first time around and come back the second time with their strategies.
Berlin will be more hyped because theres more teams in the bracket. Teams should / are a lot better now as they are more structured. Plus the precedent that Iceland sets will bring more competition for Berlin.
He should be better than his CS days just because he's probably more confident now (having a sustaining image). Though, I don't expect him to dominate like many TenZ fans anticipate. It should be a pretty big reality check to all the teams there that just because they are the best in their respective region, doesn't mean that they'll be the best in the world.
At this point, as a TSM fan, I'll take anything
Get a 144hz monitor, a decent mouse, a decent pc, and be born in europe where theres more " professional gaming activity"
Aleksander as well. All the MR players got a downgrade in team.
Only problem with the BR scene is their lack of Astra imo.
Interesting. I'm hopeful for TSM's revival now.
I just hope that Hazed will be a strong IGL but I'm a bit skeptical at the moment.
they beat 100t 13-6? Where?
Sentinels just beat crazy racoons with an afk player so....not sure what to think for this match.
Looks like cobblestone with a bit of inferno mixed into it.
They really weren't the supreme team over NA but everyone made it out to be that way.
Fallen off from the pedestal they were placed at; the pedastal being the supreme team over NA.
Faze had one lucky run with their aggressive plays.
SEN has fallen off and probably can't keep up with NRG.
Yeah that's true. Bad call after bad call. Reminded me of the TSM vs LG game where they also threw a 5-0 lead.
Hazed isn't a bad IGL at all. He can frag if he wants to.
The problem is that the coach, Tailored, consistently says that their team chemistry is what makes the team great which is why they are never willing to let go of cutler. If they want to improve and go to Masters, sometimes you need to lose something in order to move forward.
If TSM gets past today's match then I'd say probably.
Sentinels look like they are on the verge of collapse and their run might be over (in this tournament) as well because they will play either NRG or IMT which look like they would be able to knock Sentinels pretty easily this time around.
I really doubt Sen can take on NRG right now. Immortals is 50/50 because some days they can absolutely show up and other days they look like a tier 2 team.
If you look at previous challengers events, the teams who lose in the quarter finals go to the lower bracket with teams that they have not played yet.
I thought that sentinels win in masters was overhype. They didn't play Envy and it felt like Envy had a really bad showing.
Meanwhile, people were overhyping Faze with their run and gun play style. That was going to be countered sooner or later and Challengers demonstrated the failure of that strategy.
Regardless, Sentinels is still probably the most consistent team NA despite my feelings towards masters. Challengers might change that opinion though.
Autimatic isn't past his prime. His poor cs results after C9's major win was partly due to poor team structure. C9 never rebuilt what they had after stewie left and GenG had mixed results. I wouldn't blame Autimatic's poorer results after 2018 on him entirely.
Tailored's strats were always too simplistic.
It's weird to sub out the player you just signed as well.
Brax would have been a pretty good omen player since he lurks really well and has high fragging power / entry fragging abilities when necessary.
Sinatraa wasn't a bad fragger either, he was a top duelist player and a top sova player. When people thought that TenZ improved Sentinels, I was a bit skeptical since Sinatraa isn't that much worse than tenz (if he's even worse at all).
Autimatic and Spyder are good fraggers though.
This was unexpected
TenZ, Wardell, Sinatraa, Nitr0, Aproto (or steel) for NA
EU: Cned, Scream, Ardiis, Ange1, and maybe Mixwell.
I'd say NA has the edge in overall play and meta adjustments. The EU players I listed above have better mechanics no doubt.
He's still arguably the best awper in NA.
My reasoning is that their strats are a bit too simplistic compared to other teams. I think Shahzam noted this when questioned about XSET's play style.
Though, I don't know how this new skye + Astra + viper meta will pan out for XSET.
To be fair, TSM threw a 9-3 lead by forcing every round and expecting to win.
Might be a stretch on my part but I don't think XSet's run will last much longer. I really can't see them pulling off what they do right now in future matches.
Or just wait till the investigation is finished so that we would know the proper truth instead of evidence with a lack of context? Evidence is great but context can explain evidence in two different ways.
Immortals is a weird one. Like they've lost to teams like C9 and LG (no offense to LG) but then occasionally beat Envy and Sentinels.
Not sure how much I should consider the last match up between Immortals vs TSM cause that just looked like a hard throw or a very bad showing.
I'd say TSM 2-1 just based off of the GenG game. Not sure how much I should consider that game either though Wardell looked solid. Subroza found a decent amount of consistency in that game as well.
NRG is the dark horse for this tournament. S0m and android look really good.
But my finals prediction is TSM vs Sentinels just for old times sake.
6 man roster could really abuse how teams anti strat against TSM if done correctly. But TSM needs to prove their consistency other than letting Wardell's AWP and Drone's fragging abilities carry through.
Xeppa and Floppy couldn't even really win tier 2 csgo events. Cloud9's Colossus project was meant to hang in with tier 1's but they couldn't even do tier 2. I very much doubt C9 valorant would be above top 5 even with these two additions.
Even csgo major winners, autimatic and skadoodle, aren't crushing the scene. Neither is grand slam winner nitr0.
Dicey is an average jett but he's a great content creator. Tarik would probably have a hard time transitioning into valorant just from seeing how long it took Autimatic to adjust (Steel even said Tarik wouldn't do too well).
Dephh is good but can be a bit inconsistent.
I wouldn't put them above top 8 if this roster came into fruition.
TSM's return to power?
People hate TSM because they went from a top 2 team to a top 8 team right after First Strike. Mostly dissappointing results fuel the "hate" but then again, people like to crap talk a lot of the time.
