If Furia beats FNATIC then I think we need to seriously consider SA as a top 2 region in valorant
Their focus on looks isn’t their fault, that’s what’s expected of them by their bosses, if they don’t their group will get dropped
I don’t really have a problem with the grind of making albums and stuff like that, I will say that it’s a little overkill and they should get some breaks but my main problem is with the internal politics of the industry. Idols basically have no rights in the industry and have to do whatever their boss says or they just will get replaced by the next up and coming idol in training. The manipulation is just disgusting
The dude’s a cracked aimer, if he’s truly dedicated to grinding through T2 and making a name for himself I can definitely see him getting on a T1 team.
Kpop idols are straight up abused, their contracts are shit, it’s a cutthroat industry. They have to constantly be on the top of fashion trends and make sure they look good, even to the point of getting plastic surgery. The pressure from weirdo fans to be perfect is insane, and the no dating bs is so weird. For female idols it’s even worse, they have to be willing to basically pimp out their body to people in power to get higher in the idol pyramid. In general Asian idol industries are horrible. At least American music industries pay their artists, and in the west, there’s a lot more power in the music industry in the hands of the artists rather than the corporations.
BTS isn’t horrible, but their fans are weird and the kpop industry is very scummy and messed up
maybe the players aren't used to the stuff in Turkish water, this type of stuff happens with drinking water from different countries, it happened to me drinking tap water in the Philippines. You should stick to bottled water when traveling unless you know that the country has a good water system.
immortality would be the loneliest possible existence
sadge the flair got removed, how am I supposed so support real valorant now?
being immortal would be so miserable, you can't possibly make any human connections because eventually they'll all die. Eventually you'd have experienced every possible thing a person can do and you'd end up just a jaded, miserable person who can't die. This doesn't even factor in the idea of immortality without eternal youth, you'd eventually just shrivel up and live a miserable life dependent on other people to do your basic needs for you.
even if it was passed, would being good at League really be considered a great cultural service?
With League being a part of the Asian games, Korea's top talent are gonna be climbing over each other to guarantee they don't have to go the the military, team KR vs team CN looks like it would be super fun to watch
I think they got rid of the rule that high school dropouts don't do military service
it's possible that LEV played perfectly and PRX/TL made lots of mistakes, these things aren't mutually exclusive
I know that all Korean males have to go to the military but I have legit never heard of this mf going into the military, was he able to skip it because he's the biggest star in LoL or something or is it just delayed
kang kang is his actual iGN, the zmjj part comes from his brother who is his biggest supporter, his IGN is jj so he put it in his name
zmjjkk is crazy, it feels like they just ran out of steam
why watch a boring ass watch party when you can watch the normal stream or someone who actually talks about the game like sliggy or TMV
That’s why I didn’t saw completely, just a little bit. Maybe they show the mental cracks again when the crowd is out but for now they look elite and poised for a deep run
DRX fixed the one thing that everyone knew limited them as a team, their mental resilience. I think that winning an OT game and then stopping a comeback with no momentum on an eco round is a good sign they fixed their mental problems. DRX’s problem was never skill in the first place, in fact in terms of talent I’d say they’re one of the most talented teams in the tournament
DRX fans can get on some hopium now
They looked very polished, when 100T started that fake comeback they didn’t choke and stood their ground to close out the series. They showed the resilience that a lot of people doubted that they had before Champs.
100T are still an inexperienced team
That Fracture round 21 I think really exemplifies this. They got caught off guard and looking ahead to round 22, and against teams as good as DRX are, you can’t be doing that
Asuna needs to find some consistency if 100T wants to make a deep run
I don’t care how good his KAST% or his utility impact was, if you are almost going double negative as your team’s star that is a major problem. 100T needs that Will-Asuna 1-2 punch, and if they can only rely on one of those to perform consistently, that’s a bad recipe for success.
100T 2-0 DRX
Maps:
Breeze (100T pick) 13-11
Haven (DRX pick) 18-16
Loud are far better than Furia are, no way they choke this
100T owns EMEA
Floptic are frauds
That’s just how BR ppl type out a laugh
This is like the 2nd time I’ve done this to 100T, I remember way before NA LCQ started I said in the GF thread congrats to 100T for winning LCQ and it happened
If anything with the consolidation of talent coming into a specific amount of teams the gap will be even smaller, now all the best players will be on a few teams instead of being spread out
Not a complete domination, they had some close maps. The SEN matches were closer tho
The opposite of an onliner is a LANimal
Went head to head against one of the best chamber players in the tournament and came out on top, Will is a LANimal
How similar are Spanish and Portuguese and how easy or hard would it be for a Spanish 2nd language learner to learn Portuguese. Very curious, as I am interested in learning Portuguese sometime in the future and I am taking Spanish classes in school, and I'd say I'm pretty good at it for an American at least
In terms of strategy, he took a pretty middling roster and made them one of the most polished in NA, I would agree in terms of accomplishment tho
I think maybe Mini, D00mbros, sgares and Chet are in the conversation
I think a lot of people had LEV better than TL, but a common Eutalyx W nonetheless
Don't worry I'll watch it in my first class tomorrow instead of pay attention
football tackles and rugby tackles are very different, with how football works you are fighting for barely a few feet of space at a time and it's more worthwhile to basically just throw yourself at the person with the ball and stop them than to do a rugby style tackle and risk giving up yards
yeah it happens to a lot of games, like valorant has the reputation of being the game for edaters and weirdos
yeah, I'm assuming people are just lumping the playerbase and the actual game in together because I played it a little bit and I thought it was pretty good
My Hero Academia, it is a popular ass shonen anime and the fans were the most immature cancerous group of people you would ever see in your life
the fans are the new MHA fans
NA fans show up for NA teams when they have school/work
quark-gluon plasma literally clears all 3 out of the water
haven requires more teamwork and strats than icebox does, which is why I'm guessing they keep banning Icebox. LEV would rather rely on the big brain Onur strats than risk getting aim diffed with no counterplay, which is entirely possible with how insane the players on TL are. It's also not a terrible map, it just is different from the others with it being more attacker sided with the 3 sites. A lot of the game for defenders ends up being a retake simulator because how the fuck are you going to expect 1 person to hold a site against a full hit, but a lot of the attacker sided nature of the map is dependent on how well a team can manipulate CT rotates and how good their lurks are.
This is an insane example of recency bias, PRX are still one of the top 3 teams in the world, and no matter how stylistically they match up, going up against PRX would be a challenge for anything and EDG were able to hang with them and this was all with a sub mind you. No disrespect to LEV but their game was against TL, who so far have looked like they've fallen back to form and are about to go out in last place.
Icebox is more dogshit and boring, the same 5 man hits every time nothing interesting happens
EDG is going to playoffs, expect a 5-6th finish minimum
