Yeah, Pearl mid reminds me of Haven, you have window and double doors, I agree that Split's mid was very different to any others. Also the amount of big games decided on Split is ridiculous, SEN X FNC, KRU x SEN, LOUD x OPTC (the last one), big loss for the comp scene but I don't miss playing it much

haven requires more teamwork and strats than icebox does, which is why I'm guessing they keep banning Icebox. LEV would rather rely on the big brain Onur strats than risk getting aim diffed with no counterplay, which is entirely possible with how insane the players on TL are. It's also not a terrible map, it just is different from the others with it being more attacker sided with the 3 sites. A lot of the game for defenders ends up being a retake simulator because how the fuck are you going to expect 1 person to hold a site against a full hit, but a lot of the attacker sided nature of the map is dependent on how well a team can manipulate CT rotates and how good their lurks are.

Not going to be easy, even if they win against TL they will have to face LEV / PRX . I believe they can beat PRX in the rematch, but not sure about LEV because they are looking solid.
Not saying LEV > PRX here , stylistically PRX is easier for edg to play against, they would have also see a lot of PRX but not LEV .

This is an insane example of recency bias, PRX are still one of the top 3 teams in the world, and no matter how stylistically they match up, going up against PRX would be a challenge for anything and EDG were able to hang with them and this was all with a sub mind you. No disrespect to LEV but their game was against TL, who so far have looked like they've fallen back to form and are about to go out in last place.

Liquid have masked their rebuilding phase with the LCQ run; still very much a raw team
PRX looked low on confidence with the slightly slower style they played(maybe giving too much respect to their opponents)
Leviatan look like the second seed out of this group

They can't play fast when they lose a man early.
Their fast plays got shut down by edg . Everytime prx tried they got stopped or got ignored. Edg knows how prx plays and not the other way around.
Icebox 13-5 is the proof of my statement - once you're seen as a top team , teams know how you play and will counter that .

I would not say prx were low on confidence they just came back from a 5-0 , that's not easy to do .
And their fast plays were shut down by EDG .
If they rematch i genuinely think they can beat PRX cleanly in Pearl .

i dont think prx its the last form today, they try new strat and adjustment on that game game, like they not keep W for every team, they play more adaptive and still super aggresive but with more lower tempo, they learn holding shift now kekw
