You'll notice that the way it teaches you is incredibly inefficient. Instead of learning grammar rules, you just learn different conjugations of verbs as a new vocab word. It's a fun game, but not a good way to learn a language. If someone's really serious about learning a language, my advice would be to take classes at school, or buy a textbook.

If you go by having the best team, yes, but I don't think the rest of the region is comparable in strength. Hope Loud winning champs can improve the strength of the Brazilian/SA scene as a whole. Would be nice to see.

I don't think you can fault someone for taking advantage of a system like this. It's in the rules that everyone agrees to by competing, and XSET wasn't the one who initiated it. I don't think I could honestly tell a group of players that they shouldn't take an arguably deserved second chance at winning the biggest tournament they've ever competed in.

Nah, Cypher cam was an intentionally abused bug. KJ turret was an unfortunate scenario, not the same.

What ended up happening was probably the best scenario that could've happened given the whole situation. XSET got their replay after being arguably screwed out a close round, and FPX got to prove they were still the better team. There's no info other than someone's opinion that XSET asked for the replay, I think it's fine for the FPX players to feel a little animosity because of the situation, but you shouldn't shit talk the players unless you know that they asked for the replay.

I don’t follow him, but I think most people say that he can only play cypher. I didn’t watch enough 100T or faze when he was on, but I remember him playing KJ as well.

Late reply, but it isn’t a reference to anything. Just know that the internet tends to jump to conclusions. In the case of Frank Sinatra, there was a recording that made it look pretty bad for him. In this case there was screenshots so removed from context on both sides that you can’t trust either.

Moral of the story, if anyone post screenshots without posting the entire log, be skeptical of it.

I think something people aren’t mentioning is the general lack of hyping anything up that isn’t masters. Iirc they did a series of videos on NA talent like subroza and Marved( I think) to hype up challengers 2, but that’s normally the only thing I see. For masters, they put out some pretty sick videos that tease the event and the players attending that generally raises my interest in watching the events.

Also the casting can kinda suck. I love my boy riv, but sometimes it feels like he doesn’t really understand some of the things the pros do.

I don’t really watch any csgo, but it seems that since the game has been a thing for so much longer you have “storylines” that have kinda formed. I.e. s1mple was widely considered the best player but had never won a major, so when we won one, there was a lot more hype. I think Karrigan also had a similar situation.

This story is actually kinda crazy. Both parties screenshots make the other look pretty bad. I’m sure people won’t jump to conclusions and assign one party or the other blame without waiting for something other than screenshots attacking the others character to come up.

Play with someone else, two people with coordination can do pretty well even if the rest of the team isn’t on the same page 100% of the time.
