I honestly think FUR has a real shot at winning. LOUD looked like they could lose against C9 and MIBR, and from what we've seen so far, FUR looks better than both of those teams.

There was a leak earlier in the season that Tenz was always going to be subbed out eventually so that he could take a break to be with his fiance. They're most likely just waiting till Marved gets his visa.

It is kinda odd considering how good he was on Jett before Chamber. Gotta let FNS and Chet cook tho.

Thanks, will take a look :)

There's a mobile app I found called Strafe that kinda does it, but it's super outdated with some info (i.e. it still thinks FPX val is a Swedish team), and it doesn't have brackets or qual details. But at least you can look at the games.

I feel like I lose half my brain cells when I try to look at the website. It's pretty terrible for newcomers I think.

I've been trying to get into watching lol esports recently, but I really have like 0 clue how anything works with qualifying for events. Are there any websites that are kinda like VLR where you can see which events qualify teams for different events and you can see brackets, that aren't the Lolesports website?

Having good synergy and roles >>> individual talent of your roster any day. Also people tend to forget how hard leaf and xeppaa can go.

He's the GM, what do you expect him to say? "Yeah, we're actually pretty shit."

Hot take, but watching VCT with an insane chamber was actually kinda fun. Must've been hell to play tho.

People shit on Runi and Jakee too much because they weren't t1 players. Never doubt mCe scouting.

I think it's fair to say C9 are favorites to make playoffs at least at 6th. They've looked pretty good outside of the LOUD game, which they didn't look that bad in. Only 4-2 tho, still time to lose.

He's a great Sova/initiator, but ever since he had the whole clutch/king before champs I swear I've seen 1 or 2 clutches. Maybe I'm just missing them, but I feel like that shit cursed him.

People are more aware of how to counter nAts lurk then back in 2021. People talk about how they don't want him on KJ because he can't lurk, but nowadays, his lurk isn't getting anywhere near the same value as it used to. But that's just my opinion.

Would be funny if V1 won it, but almost certainly KC.

I think theres a chance MIBR beat sentinels, at least just off the fact they took a map off loud. I don't see C9, EG, or KRU beating them though.

To try to be good faith, she probably isn't aware of George's criticizing in the past and was reading into his tweet something that wasn't there. There are probably quite a few people that are legitimately being sexist on Twitter about it, and she kinda got lost and attributed it to George.

Their GC team looks good

It's pretty tiring to see something like this when the whole point of the EG roster concept was so Potter could specifically mold players that weren't traditional T1 stars into that. The lack of results from that is something that you can legitimately question Potter for. This tweet, at least for me, doesn't feel like a defense for Potter, but more of a defense for a woman that is coaching t1 Valorant, if that makes sense.

"[no one] ask[s] questions about their "ability to lead." People have said all the time that there are coaches that shouldn't be coaches because they aren't capable of performing well, Rawkus is one that comes to mind. IMO, this is the first time that Potter's gotten a large amount of pushback, or criticism, for most of her career at EG, she's been pretty well-regarded. People just like saying shit like this because it lets them get some ego from virtue signaling.

People pretending like Yay isn't going to be signed by a Tier 1 team next season. They only started watching since chamber meta so they didn't see how good he was on Jett back in 2021.

No way Talon goes 0-9. They gotta beat at least DFM

I think he really meshes well into the PRX style of play, W gaming

I wasn't able to watch the game when it happened, but in his game against T1, I think he looked really good.

Thoughts on him?

I knew most people thought that he was just smurfing against JP, but he looks like he could be a really good player in the future. I know he isn't dropping 130 or whatever a series, but he definitely looks really solid IMO.

Why would you sub out BCJ over Jawgemo if demon1 is going to be playing? Surely bcj can play harbor.

Why do people always say Sacy igl? What makes people think he would be a good igl, especially when it would be in a second language for him, one which he's not fluent in.

I think that 100T look clearly better on paper. Hard to say for certain though with how unpredictable the game can be.

He was bailed out of jail from what I remember. I'd guess those close to him are trying to help him through the situation and keep him off social media for the time being.

That's fair, but I think the biggest issue with m3c in 2022 was the meta. They didn't really have a good op that could consistently perform when Chamber literally dominated the meta. d3ffo's online performance has never been great, and he's lukewarm at lan. IIRC, they had Nats and Chronicle playing chamber at different points, which meant either having Nats using an op or Chronicle not using a rifle, two not-desirable outcomes. But with how close they got to qualifying for most lans, I'd agree with you that they probably would've made one of them.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe this is a hot take, but Gambit would've followed a similar trajectory of m3c in 2022 imo. It probably wouldn't have been as severe, but the idea that that team would've won over teams like Optic (in a chamber meta), FPX, or 2022 DRX isn't believable imo.

Edit: forgot, but loud as well

If GC teams went straight into challengers, they would get shit on because of the skill gap that exists currently, as well as a huge amount of shit from toxic members of the community for getting a free spot. Getting 13-0'd by M80 or the Guard wouldn't help a GC team. The best thing for them right now, in my opinion, is to keep playing it a separate circuit, naturally, build up the strongest teams in GC as more players join the league, and then play in the open qualifiers where they can get some close games and work off the feedback there.

It's between a few. Redgar, Stax, jingg, and Laz. They're all very wholesome and great. (Bonus points to Redgar for being the posture god). If we're talking about watching, probably Sugarz3ro. Imo, best at playing controller in the game.

C9 with yay and vanity destroyed PRX, it's worth noting that their issues didn't really start to show until they played one of the best teams in the world. Hard to say for certain from this game.

mCe scouting still goated

posted about 2 years ago

Can you do that? Intuitively it makes sense, but for some reason, I think something was considered an import even though he's from Vladivostok (I believe) and played in Japan. I would guess it has more to do with your country of residence, which would be Russia which is considered CIS.

Gotta qualify to playoffs first. Not a ton of "free" games left.

There was a team in the east asia GC last year that was named MBTI (Myer-Briggs Type indicator). I also think the members were named the possible results you could get on the test.
