It's essentially a transfer of assets, so to speak. It's not a loophole, as all Ascension teams are subject to a pre-Partnership vetting process to determine their sustainability and capability to participate within the system (and by proxy, the agreement that all Partnership must agree on).

If 2G, even with their supposedly lesser financials either deemed themselves as capable of participating in the system or Riot sees them as a non-issue, then it's up to them.

But if Riot deemed SPG couldn't and the ownership from SPG themselves sees it as a much better solution, then it's a more or less ideal solution (regardless of releasing their current VCL squad).

It's a much better move from Riot considering what happened to TGRD/G2 and any potential similar situations that might happen after.

Tbf, I saw the image and it's basically academy/subs players. Only Bunt and Player is from the main team. GE didn't lie, they just decieved and omitted a partial truth.

Fellas, it's their real roster. You do realize that CN and APAC accounts are on different clients, and most likely, the CN players never had to play on their APAC accounts unless they used VPN and most likely those accounts are only used sparingly.

I've recorded several dozes APAC accounts of Chinese players. It's the exact same motive. If it's random players, explain how bunt's account is the exact one I recorded almost two years ago.

The event is a letdown, sure. But that's it.

And you'd be SURPRISED on how many accounts are copying pro player names, lmao. Even CHICHOO's acc copied nAts' name.

And? Akame has played in Japan more than he has been in Korea, and Jinboong have always been a touted prospect coming out of SLT. His time in Sengoku just proved that he can frag as better.

Those Koreans are as supported in the Japanese system. They're not the sole x-factor, as the rest of the team are.

They're a real org, played in the OW Contenders and OWCS system for a hot minute, before they signed the Valorant team at the start of the year.

The org is relatively new and small-ish, but they seems to have good backing.

We need more than a single match, we need a full list of format, schedule, teams involved, prize pool, etc.

tbf they were the runner up of CN Ascension (and ironic considering Udotan was ex-RA)

The casters aren't even pinoy, it's Un1verse (a CC for GE and caster for SA) and Komodo, a caster for OCE?

Right now that's the date set from the official Valorant Esports news website; if anything, once we get an update, we'll change it immediately.

The window of Pacific starts at January, it could possibly mean either mid or late January as well.

Indonesia gets 2 slots because they're a founding region of Predator League, iirc.

Probably old info that we received. Will be updated accordingly

Both are NA, dodonut have been competing in NA since 2021 and VLR opted to choose sonder's flag as CN per wishes, she's still considered NA

For WDG's channel, they just started this year since WDG became the TO for VCK. Last year, it was WCG.

But the SOOP KR client is basically the AFTV KR client, just rebranded (unlike their Global sisters).

So it's the same AFTV as always.

Right now it's TBD since they were busy with VCL OCE.

They qualified through Premier, and they went through the TW/HK promo/relo by choice.

Bc it solely takes the performance of Split 2 and not including Ascension

My bad, some of the schedule adjustments missed me. Fixed.

Like an earlier comment said, on paper it's probably the most 'equal' match up, but JFT's doing great so far

They're not justifying- they're making a context. You should try to read through it to see the poster also condemning the management on making a mistake.

He played for the original iteration of JDG during the Evolution Series last year, and was rumored to be one of the players retained for their VCT China run before JDG decided to yoink the RA core.

He also played in Challengers Pacific, various T2 China teams, and prior to joining EDG, in the first half of the year, he played in Challengers TW/HK.
