Yeah, he seems a bit inconsistent. It's hard to say. Def. looking forward to see some crazy duels in Madrid and how certain players behave when they face well known names. Autumn for sure is an insane talent and with a better team he would pop off even more.

I edited it now... prob. more realistic like this.

I'm sure SEN will win Madrid when they keep gaming like this. Who should stop them?

Best possible Kickoff-GF for Americas. The currently 2 best teams in the world (at this exact moment) and at the same time 2 super wholesome and likeable teams in my eyes.

May the better team win. Both will play in Madrid anyways.

Click on Bind is so insane everytime.

What many people don't know is that Click is only 17 and doesn't actually play the game. He just plays for matchdays and a bit of praccing... but no ranked and not a lot of scrims because he has to study.

When Click starts to actually (!) play this game like other professionals, he will become so damn powerful.

And overall 22-8 entries is ridiculous crazy.

I swear to god, johnqt on Split was one of the best Cypher performances I've ever witnessed. That was like oldschool nAts and SUYGETSU stuff - but as an IGL. Dude is OP. But in general all of them played so good... an absolute team performance.

Sentinels are truly back. Insane series.

posted 8 months ago

Since Derke, Chronicle and Boaster are missing Madrid probably yes.

posted 8 months ago

I wonder if tuyz wouldn't be amazing on Jett. Then they could get pANcada back.

GG to LOUD. After Tokyo and the unnecessary hate they deserve anything in my eyes. Beside of the NRG vs SEN winner def. the biggest favorit of Masters Madrid.

Best coach in the game - or at least one of the best (together with mini, Chet, Engh, bonkar).

She def. is the most demanding coach beside of mini (watch the Boostio interview). At Fnatic f.e. you could immediately tell what happened when Elmapuddy took over as a HC and the sense for perfection of a mini is just secondary for now. I actually think this is one of the things what causes the main issues at FNC right now.

Potter has a fully new team beside of jawgemo and they were able to beat G2 and play 1:2 against LOUD without a lot of time.

FPX 3-2 EDG

*Edit: And again no English stream. Riot pushing CN region as hell but are not able to host one English stream.

It's never over. Watch at any E-Sports. Stuff is changing annually or even quicker. New talents, new coaches, old stars becoming bad, new stars are on the way...

Just relax.

posted 8 months ago

Sadge. I actually thought DRG would win again against FPX, but they played similar to a certain European team that lost against KC... ehehehe.

Shit happens.

GG FPX.

NA is currently the strongest region. No secret. But that doesn't mean matches of other regions can't be exciting. Wasn't different in the past. Just enjoy watching and all good.

marteen and N4RRATE are absolute beasts.

I posted this before the OT. Nobody tries to be a prophet. Smoke less crack please.

I feel like some teams became a bit arrogant lately when it's about their whole status and their abilities. Not NAVI, but i.g.

posted 8 months ago

It's no secret that ANGE1 costs them a lot of series, but a Ukrainian team will never fire a Ukrainian IGL and buy another Russian or so. Cloud from GIANTX would be perfect for them.

Sunset is so awesome. This map is steering Valorant in a completely fresh direction. I love watching mechnically strong teams like KC etc. on this map. And Sunset also already "exposed" several teams in EU, NA and PAC when it comes to their coordination.

Coordination and speed are the most important things on attack here... no other map is demanding it that much. NAVI is having many problems on attack, simply because they're too slow with their their executive coordination. That's where KC and also Vitality shined so much.

I'm 100% sure Heretics will win Sunset.

And overall I say NAVI can do the 2-1 when they play a solid Breeze like they did against TL. When Heretics make it to OT on Breeze, they will win the series for sure.

*Edit: GG. Absolute deserved.

Exciting, explosive Valorant > slow, boring, ultra strategic Valorant

Less get's cloned 4x and that team wins every major for the next 10 years.

posted 8 months ago

Saadhak is a genius obviously and yes, LOUD won deserved against Fnatic (also obvious). That's one Valorant genius against another one and mini stated out that the FNC boys didn't train anymore that much at Champions - they did a lot of praccing in Tokyo and Brazil before and that made them dominate so many insane teams, that they became a bit "lazy". LOUD instantly punished them for basically laziness and maybe a bit unwanted "arrogance", like praccing not enough.

2024 will be exciting. Seeing FNC will 100% focus on Champions, NRG also wants to win it all, PRX wants to win their first major and LOUD wants to show everyone they don't need aspas and destroy every other team anyways.

Will be a great year. :)

koala and Zander are crazy... i.g. all those Italian-Canadians have such a great gamesense.

I mean with nitr0 and BcJ they have a legit roster, but no way that they would be better than G2.

posted 8 months ago

KC are super dangerous to EVERY team at this point. A hungry bunch of very talented players and a great IGL. Especially on maps where you can force a lot of 1v1 duels and where N4RRATE, MAGNUM and marteen can roam and anchor - Fnatic could have problems there, because a perfectly timed strategy doesn't work that good against a explosive team like KC. You could see that on the first map against Vitality with runneR and Sayf causing issues.

I say Fnatic should win this, simply because they have the experience to deal with any team- and playerstyle. But with a bit momentum KC could win a map - or make both maps tight.

FNC 2-1 KC

posted 8 months ago

Why are you s*cking? If you're not a kiddo false flagger, you're from Singapore. Your region is by far the worst of the big ones. NA is currently the strongest region, but there is no free ticket for domination of any kind in E-Sports. Btw.: EU holds by far (!) the record for the most won E-Sports tournaments - esp. in FPS games (also still in Valorant at this point).

The most pathetic thing is people with no back that keep s*cking at the current best. Has nothing to do with funny gaming trashtalk and banter, like it's happening between NA and EU all the time (and still people like each other), stuff like this is just insanely cringe. Your region never wins anything and never will win anything. Let it to NA, BR and EU.

posted 8 months ago

The thing is when you don't put Sayf in Fnatic, NRG, LOUD or PRX he will always outshine a team. One of the best players in the world without a doubt...

posted 8 months ago

Sayf vs KC

His quality is simply insane. Plays KAY/O and Viper like a monster. A true Flex player.

But yeah... I mean runneR is amazing, too and Kicks also does a good job for such a young career, but KC seemed so much more hungry to win. Def. deserved so far.

posted 8 months ago

As if it is only tex fault. The whole team concept failed. aspas is twice as good as everyone else on that team and the whole agent swapping doesn't make it better. Look at C0M on Breeze... tex played so much better than him there.

You can't blame one player for this team concept. And furthermore tex was super impactful at TGRD. Just look at the Guard stats for Asension or the regular season Splits with playoffs:

https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1458/challengers-league-north-america?exclude=18642.18643.18644.18645.17259.17260.17261.17262.17263.17264.17265.17266&min_rounds=0&agent=all

I don't want to say he plays good for LEV, but it's not all on his shoulders in my opinion.

Derke not good with Raze? Tokyo showed something else.

posted 8 months ago

Would have been the best for both sides, tbh.

Actually true. She is simply the best coach.

G2 wins this. JonahP does some Italian special cooking and it's done. ;)

*Edit: I should stop jinxing all teams I like.

By statistics Leo was the best player of 2023, followed by Alfajer. Demon1 was the best player of the Champions tournament.

For 2024 there is obviously a chance that Demon1 will get it for the whole year, but there is also a chance that Leo does it again or Alfajer will be #1 this time - or maybe it will be Less. Who cares man? In 2-3 years we will talk about totally different names.

posted 8 months ago

I would say Fnatic is the best team by talent. They have 5 insane players, which belong to the best in the world on their positions - and Leo is currently probably the best player in the world together with Demon1. Their biggest negative point is the "work ethic". mini stated that out after Champions. If Fnatic would have played against LOUD like they practiced it, they could have won it like they won against EG twice a few weeks earlier in Tokyo. But the team didn't work as hard, they didn't practice as much anymore and they simply didn't grind as much as they needed it. Please watch Boostios EG interview regarding this topic.

Fnatic simply didn't give all they had to win Champions - but they did exactly that in Tokyo and Brazil.

A team that won two majors in a row is not "overrated". People who say Fnatic is overrated don't understand how difficult it is to win two majors like LOCKIN and Tokyo Masters in a row, to beat a crazy team like LOUD on their homeground, to beat PRX in Tokyo with that high numbers and to beat EG including a hungry Demon1 5-1 in maps. That's no luck. There is no "overrated" here. Also NRG is not overrated as some people said after the 12-14 on one map against C9. It doesn't even make sense.

Look at the CS scene. There are different teams winning S-Tier events almost every time. Vitality, MOUZ, G2, FaZe, Spirit, Heroic, then against Vitality and so on.

The more the skill level and also the skill ceiling are rising, the more every match will be decided by nuances. What could have been decided within 10 seconds in 2022 is now only 2 seconds in 2024. Every match on the highest level gets more difficult. That's how E-Sports should be. There should be no one super team that always wins everything. E-Sports should have rivalries, grand-finals should be thrilling and neither Fnatic nor NRG, PRX or LOUD should win every major.

posted 8 months ago

I really like the LOUD dudes, but aspas and tex are my boys! I will always root for them in Americas.

*Edit: LOUD deserved the win. GGWP. Less was insane.

posted 8 months ago

Demon1 is an nuclear aircraft CARRIER. Great series of Victor, too.

posted 8 months ago

Demon1, Leo and aspas. Those 3 dudes always deliver no matter what. Alfajer coming there, too.

Also what makes Demon1 so insanely crazy is that he is not only one of the best Jetts in the world, he also plays Brimstone and Astra on the highest level possible. His ability to adapt is insane. He is not the "pure" duelist, he is basically a Flex player but casually doing the Duelist as one of the 2-3 best ever in this game. That dude is just different.

posted 8 months ago

He was the best player of C9 in the last matches.

posted 8 months ago

Leo on Lotus such a icecold Gigachad. Still best player in the world and after all these legendary years he just became 20 years young. And Alfajer truly is the best rifler of this game. How casually he simply outfrags everyone... xD

But yeah, trexx in and Destrian out. Sayf together with trexx will be awesome for VIT.

posted 8 months ago

NAVI looking sharp, but not OP.

Liquid are simply not the same anymore. The roster of Sayf, nAts, Jamppi, soulcas and Redgar should just have been replacing Redgar with Mistic or Cloud... that would have been perfect!

posted 8 months ago

Cloud back to NAVI instead of ANGE1 would be great... he is like the only very constant player at Giants. He def. needs to leave Giants. nukkye could also IGL for another team.

Fit1nho, Redgar and hoody are really the incarnation of inconsistency. Once you have a Fit1nho that destroys KangKang and a crazy good EDG team and then he gets again and again bashed in EMEA Kickoff... kinda weird.

1 round played... TECH PAUSE!

EDIT

BBL 2-1 NAVI

Shao and SUYGETSU play well, but ANGE1 trolling as always, ardiis needs to play Initiator while everybody knows he's by far the best on Jett (we saw it again at NRG) and yeah... new year, old mistakes, old boring strats. Won't work against a fresh team with hungry former Tier 2 talents from Turkey. QutionerX is a beast anyways, Elite is one of the best Sentinel talents and yeah... that team will be awesome in the future.
