The FOKUS boys!
GENG won the first map 13-4.
FUT won the second map 13-6.
So no discussion there, both did their thing.
It was all about Lotus. GENG had it in their hands, but they simply didn't stick to their strats which worked in the first place very well. They forced more unnecessary gunfights etc. and FUT was basically accepting it in the deciding part of the match (when they had to defend), doing more retakes against less people most of the time. And they then won the overtime very clearly.
So yeah, deserved in my eyes. If GENG would have won this, it would also be deserved. Both teams fought hard, but also both teams made mistakes.
Still kinda weird to see qw1 not at FUT anymore, but cNed.
FUT is missing a bit of consistency overall. In the end a deserved win, since GENG were pretty much throwing their strats over board after the first map and trying to force every gunfight.
ATAKAPTAN most important player for FUT in my eyes. The rating isn't really showing it, but he won the most important duels and clutches.
Turkey will win that tourney even with their D-team.
NiesoW didn't cheat in Valorant. Riot was forced to check his VODs and they never found anything - several people actually reviewed his stuff.
NiesoW cheated in a game called "Battalion 1944" for fun when he was younger and therefore people wanted him to get banned in Valorant, too. Which is a joke honestly. Also - there are other Valorant and CS:GO pro's who have bans in other games. Like several.

Here are the banned Cheaters:

Maybe he meant phox or w3ak - 2 pros who got banned and which was a pretty big thing on Twitter.
They are brothers. ;)
Can't wait to see this new KC roster play!
Yeah, they destroyed C9 a few weeks ago.
But yeah, great job of VIT. They are true Phantom geniuses.
What is wrong with that runneR dude? Jesus.
Never thought Vitality would have a chance against FURIA after I saw how they played against C9.
musashi, the machine!
The delays, tech issues (lags, sound etc.) and the waiting at all at this event are awful as hell.
Afaik:
marteen is basically a Flex, tomaszy also played a lot of Sentinel (also on ranked afaik)
N4RRATE, tomaszy and marteen are 3 of the best Tier 2 talents, MAGNUM is a former KOI and Fnatic player and super experienced and sh1n also has a lot of Tier 1 experience.
Great roster! Mega excited to see them play.
This is a great feature. Several great players were spotted in ranked and then either via luck or connections they got pro. Now players without any good connections, but a nice team in Premier have the chance to become pro (and also when you're really good, you can get a spot in searching Premier teams quite easily).
And I actually think Immo 3+ is a good feature, since even if you only want to have a chance as a pro, you need a lot of time to scrim and to learn new stuff (strats etc.) - so grinding for an ranked title should be the easiest thing on this way, even though you're maybe studying or working.
You already got cooked by Fnatic in Tokyo... ;)
But for real - at the current state of Fnatic and the current state of Sentinels I would not be so sure about who would be the more dangerous opponent for anybody. Sentinels look crazy strong.
Congrats Sentinels - the OGs are back!
So happy to see TenZ smiling with a trophy in his hands again! :)
SEN 3-2 PRX
zekken and Jinggg each going to drop a 90 bomb if it's going to be 5 games.
zekken is one of the best Flex players in the world, without a doubt. That dude is INSANE. Also TenZ is more than ready again... the whole synergy at SEN is amazing. So glad they're finding back their old strength. VCT 2024 Masters with Sentinels fighting for the trophies will be a great year.
Also Liquid looked great on Haven and in some certain situations. I bet that team can get really strong in the future. keiko needs some confidence, though.
GGs
What excuse? xD
You don't say?! :D zekken is one of the most experienced Flex players in Tier 1 and keiko never played Tier 1.
I guess you don't have to be a genius to think that Sentinels could win this quite sovereign. :P
The only thing I hope to see from Liquid is that they try to give SEN a hard time etc. - since it's the same scenario as it would be at an official Major when you face a better team (and I hope to see a Yoru vs. Yoru again).
I say:
SEN 2-1 TL
And TL has only nAts and Jamppi left and 3 new players from Apeks, who were in Tier 2 the whole season before. And they also had a big break in scrimming, like most teams after August.
I guess with EDG it's mostly the motivation at all right now...
Beautiful series of TL.
T1 won deserved. On TL's side it felt like only Jamppi and Mistic were playing great, while T1 was actually always adapting and creating new ideas.
3 Aces and two 4Ks in one game... why not. xD
That was actually a crazy Lotus experience once again.
PRX vs. DRX
That match never happened before this year.
Sentinels so damn cool.
But also... wtf DRX?! Some of those plays felt kinda sluggish in comparison to what every Valorant E-Sport viewer knows from them. Sometimes they literally ran without util on open lanes without any sort of info.
But anyways a great series of SEN! TenZ on Omen is sweet af.
Sounds good.
Mistic is such a great Omen player! Can see this TL team becoming actually very good in the future... they prob. need their time to sort evertyhing out for actual tough opponents, but yeah. Looking good.
Yesican is actually a good player. And dunno... TL with a totally fresh core. Could be close, tbh. :P
*Edit: Yeah, okay nevermind. xDDD
GG
No Jinggg, no win. He came in after the first map and showed again why he's the best Raze and one of the best duelists in the world. Outstanding player.
Glad for Sentinels, tbh. I like PRX, but I'm just happy for TenZ, zekken and Sacy. Also Zellsis and john fit so damn well in this squad. The whole synergy is now actually great again.
Congratulations!
Thanks for your answer. This was not about the money, just regarding Tiers (whoever sets the standard there). But thanks for clarifying that, since I didn't know how the sponsoring works of the Challenger tourneys anyway. :)
Not. They just got destroyed by SR and SR's core lost to a Tier 3 male team.
SR (V1) lost to a T3 team (Turtle Troop) and G2 Gozen got 0-13'd by Team Heretics and also destroyed by FOKUS (Tier 2). And now these teams play for 180k USD on a Tier 1 classified tourney. Shouldn't this all be performance wise leveled, since people were discussing mixed pro teams for the future?!
I'm not hating, I just don't understand the leveling of Tier 1 when it comes to the different leagues.
yay won't play due to health issues. 5 hours ago BLEED made an statement.

:(
Will be close. Saw SUYGETSU scrimming with aspas in the last days several times and both were doing their usual gunplay magic.
Both teams are able to win this. I guess the daily mood / performance will decide.
Who actually hates the dude? I think he's always much more humble than some people say.
Tactical maps where heavy strats are good: CGN
Maps where you can seek many direct duels: OVA
Autumn was insane on Haven. FPX really improved a lot.
BBL, Shopify and SMG are the favourites I guess.
Another al0rante 1v3 Clutch.
Dude is just insane in duels.
Zekken is just so good!
cucumba
al0rante vs. all #4 :D
Bro, it's a damn off season tournament with totally random teams. Why being ashamed? Nobody cares about Spike Nation... relax and enjoy the matches.
One of the best riflers in Valorant... I mean even Derke mentioned him already.
