Makes sense. Teams like Apeks and KOI need basically a full rebuild. Luckily T2 in Europe is full of brutal talents... and they are all so young. You can find so many 17-19 years young talents and that's literally the ideal age to form absolute beasts with the right coaches.

I'm pretty sure until 2028 the skill base level and also the skill ceiling of VCT will rise further.

Nice to see Sayf the "Swiss" multi tool back in business, but kinda sadge performance wise. You still gotta give VIT the fact that they had the toughest season with all those changes here and there. 2026 with Sayonara will be a new + for them.

First not insanely crazy match by kaajak since 10 series or so?! But I don't know if I like this "low flame" mode of Fnatic. I mean, yeah it makes a bit of sense when you're already 100% safe at Champions for a time and don't necessarily want to show your main strats on the best maps, but still... it's a nice thing and flex to win playoffs, it's 100k and experience and prestige for the team in the end. Collect the souls. 😈

But yeah... GG. KC has a crazy fan base. Probably the biggest beside of some Asian (Chinese) teams.

BBL plays these maps NEXT level professional. Insane performance by Jamppis IGLing and LewN, PROFEK etc. are just amazing tactically and fragwise.

Sayf was simply not himself as IGL and the break showed that as a 2nd indicator. Dude pulled the "ace per matches" world record in VCT as Duelist. Can't wait to see him back as Flex with no pressure. Not every player is meant to IGL.

pyroll can play literally every agent. I saw him during some matches when he played with our goat musashi at Acend (who could also easily IGL a VCT team btw.) and pyroll was impressive.

But I'm still wondering why they replace Elite. Dude is young and is def. great mechanically, so it has to be communication and stuff like that.

From the Tier 2 2024 season I also could imagine that Pa1ze would def. make a great addition for a team.

Currently it's crazy to see with that type of squads KOI and Apeks are competing. For the next season they could easily sign a way higher quality (obviously that goes down to several things, not just looking at stats and signing).

Okay, with FNC now showing this weird performance we have all top 10 teams done this year with showing weird matches.

I was kinda hoping for a little reminder before Champs so they start grinding again after the last win looked a bit messy, but this is actually their worst match this season so far. Sh*t happens no one is a robot, but when stuff like this would happen on Champs I would suffer a nuclear level meltdown.

Okay, Apeks is truly the first team for VCT 2026 that needs a FULL rebuild. Like check out all EMEA T2 leagues and let the best 3-5 players available from each league trial (and maybe also check EMEA players from NA... like alym etc.)

There is sooo much crazy talent left. Somebody could easily build another Heretics team... when I imagine a team with stonezy, Spear etc. that could be brutal!

What a match. M8s are going to become a serious threat from now on.

I mean, GX didn't play flawless and BBL made several crazy mistakes by totally underestimating GX, but still... absolutely good performance by GX. Cloud is such a good IGL and finally he got a good vibing team. I still find it a bit sadge that purp0 went so much downhill with his performance, but hey... maybe he will get another chance in another team at some point.

Okay, it's finally happening. 99% of coaches and players said before that GX are insane in scrims but never play like that on stage. And now they finally start to do that.

What a match. Robbie def. is an underrated IGL... he made some crazy calls. And yeah... virtyy is insane, that lukxo is crazy was already obvious since the beginning of the season and we actually saw glimpses of oldschool pancada (that 1v3 clutch was amazing).

But yeah... good win for the vibes and to get in the mood again. Even though it was bumpy... but I mean, literally every team of every region looked bumpy on their first matches so far. It's normal. KC had probably the same issues with break / vacation etc. and Avez is always so good.

I thinK FNS said it really well. No team will really remember EWC for the sake of being EWC but the tournament showed insane Valorant from the best teams and for the good performing teams the money is def. great. Also for Heretics I think this is insanely important for their mentality. zekken literally called this... he said that they need one win to regrow their confidence and then beat the best teams again. He was right.

But I think everyone is happy now to play VCT again and by that LAN servers.

GGs to Heretics, good to see them smile again and I'm happy they showed that they can win an event. Good to see our boys STILL smiling because it was "just" EWC and not VCT and now keep the heads high and keep up the will to win for Stage 2 and Champs. I'm also happy they showed insane plays (kaajak currently #1 Duelist by form) and that they can beat Paper Rex and GENG.
