Please watch what mini said about Leo in an recent interview. Until he paused in Q2 2024 he was "the closest player to play perfect Valorant".

Alfajer is insane mechanically... but he tends to have issues with util heavy agents. That's why he fits 101% on Sentinel - there he can do everything what he wants, just needs to play a bit slower.

But as crashies said... EMEA teams had like 2 weeks less prep with the new meta than everyone else because of the regional playoffs delay. I guess it maybe has something to do with Heretics bad state, but overall it's 90% mentals I'm sure. Like the bad Sentinels start during Kickoff and first major incl. the 1-13 against Liquid. Mental state / vibes has a lot to do with it.

In 1-2 months everything can look super different, though.

EMEA and Americas both have 5 major trophies, Pacific has 2 and China has 1 - but Pacific has the strongest average teams and China was started much later.

EP def. were the better team today and they won this thing absolutely deserved, but BCF are still great. ComeBack and Lar0k 100% belong to the best Tier 2 talents.

CGN (especially Wolfen, but also Vince) played really well. BCF is currently without a doubt the best Ascension team in EMEA and ComeBack and Lar0k will get a VCT contract by a very high chance no matter if BCF will win Ascension or not. GG to BCF but also well done to CGN!

This is how we know Derke and the boys. I hope Vitality have overcome their little struggle and are back with confidence now - also against big teams. With that coach and alone Derke, Less and Sayf in the team they can become one of the constant best teams in the world... at the last major they showed they are able to win against the best of the best. Always tough to see teams with those big names struggling (and that happened to several teams this and last season).
