''I never lost to china'' incoming

posted 2 months ago

that's why valorant and cs have such a high viewership, other games are too fucking stupid to capitalize on both valve and riot fucking up

posted 2 months ago

You don't hear comms
You don't see them
It's just their in-game pov

posted 2 months ago

Well CS has sites like faceit where you can just follow the game from player POVs, pure gameplay, maybe valo doesn't have it due to replay system

posted 2 months ago

If they haven't done it before, they won't do it soon I guess. Both CS and Valorant are retarded, CS can't keep the game fresh with constant updates and riot fuck their esports scene.

posted 2 months ago

They won't. Orgs will drop this way. You go franchising, you commit to it. You could make it semi-open with more rankings spots, but then it would split the revenue causing franchising slots to bitch about it

posted 2 months ago

Never understood these people. Maybe it's just me, but I went fucking screaming when Ronaldo bicycle kicked against Juve, I jumped from my seat when Salah curved the ball from 30 metres into top bin, I screamed like a bitch when niko missed the easy hit on s1mple. That's what sports is about. Just turning into fucking golf at this point

posted 2 months ago

I feel like riot just somehow make the entire esports scene just a closed circuit. Less crowd cams, franchising, 3 events per year, 2-4 teams per region.

posted 2 months ago

I don't know why they won't embrace the crowd. CS has regular crowd cams, just like any other sport. Meanwhile riot focus mostly on the game, and you can just host events in studios, same effect

posted 2 months ago

CS moments will always be more hype than valorant as long as riot just block the crowd

posted 2 months ago

Or maybe Madrid and Shanghai were the best Masters in a long while? Saying previous champs was better and that this champs is still ok can coexist

posted 2 months ago

It's rather a matter of calendar issues (previous dates clashes with the beginning of the Major Qualifier)

posted 2 months ago

G2 playing feels like England in Football
Lev vs EDG is just Georgia vs Turkey at Euros.
Fuck tactics. Fuck smart plays. Pure play

posted 2 months ago

Bros see 30 minutes of pre game production and go "yep, riot fell off, game is dying"
Like wait for the event to end ffs

posted 2 months ago

Twistzz better Canadian
Sexier
Dommy Mommy wife
Crisp aim
Goat NA player in the other game ofc
Better trashtalk

posted 2 months ago

Maybe it has to do with the age of the game, but CS feels like more of a sport for me.

posted 2 months ago

Zellsis with snus+aderall turns into LeBron with a mask?

posted 2 months ago

You could argue that people still play CS in those countries, but the only Asian market CS is pursuing is China and now Singapore.

posted 2 months ago

Valve first tried fixing failed maps, understood that these maps are unfixable and just deleted the shit out of them

posted 2 months ago

CS has a massive buff of a workshop, maps like Anubis and Ancient, and Cache have all come from the workshop initially, valve just bought the rights to these maps

posted 2 months ago

They will probably reach a point like siege reached. Siege also had like 8 new agents in a year, massive rate, now they switched to 1 per season afaik

posted 2 months ago

Really bad point about CS imo
Every NA major had a full crowd
IEM Dallas was sold out
IEM Chengdu was sold out
PGL Shanghai will be sold out
IEM Rio and Belo Horizonte was sold out
Blast Lisbon, where CS isn't so developed was sold out.

posted 2 months ago

4 reports = ez

posted 2 months ago

that's just an extension to the OP's suggestion imo, but I do agree that role queue is a bad idea, e.g. overwatch

posted 2 months ago

token system
use token = have preferred role 100% guarantee ( choice out of the four)
how to gain token = go into the game as FLEX(no token required) and fill out the roster as your team comp requires ( you choose last)

posted 2 months ago

sentinels winning champs this year propells them into a debate for the most successful year in valorant, so you can really only come to the conclusion after champs

posted 2 months ago

you had 5 teams with a latam/brazilian majority core
1 of them is leviatan - best team in the region in 2 stages
1 of them is kru - a team which was good in stage 1, mid in stage 2, however it has won over 100t and c9 so I will give you that
other 3 are 9th, 10th and 11th in the region.

posted 2 months ago

I am sure that if it was profitable, then riot would do it from the get-go, there are reasons these business ideas aren't a thing

posted 2 months ago

and 2025 Americas will be run by NA teams again, let's split the regions and make riot waste money on more orgs?

posted 2 months ago

So you want
A) make Pacific an even bigger meme
B) Deplete viewership
C) water down the competition at international LANs

posted 2 months ago

Single elim for valorant are just gimmick events, nothing more, nothing less

posted 2 months ago

Valorant has more time dedicated to their events, CS calendar would grind to a halt if every event had double elim

posted 2 months ago

lowest placing region at champs losses its spot, making 15 regional spots and leaving 1 left.
Solution?
Wild//Card between the remanining 32 teams (- the team with the worst record)
it might be random
it might be bullshit
but it will be hype

demon1 relevancy rn is 3 months, after that he dropped the ball. If he comes back on KOI, then the slander needs to stop, but right now, I think people overrate and overhate him

posted 2 months ago

in every ranked you need to be a healthy egoist, you are responsible for wins and for losses in exactly the same way, your team cannot entry, you go entry, your team can't hold onto B, go to B, you are getting fucked by the enemy OP, buy an op yourself and counter him.

posted 2 months ago

Demon1 to Team Liquid CS2, Here we skidaddle

posted 2 months ago

I ve thought it was bigger ( not familiar with NHL stadiums), ye, basketball/hockey venues are perfect for any esport in my opinion, going to 25-30k stadiums is just a waste of money

posted 2 months ago

I don't think you really understand, it would be a lot to rent a stadium which holds like 25k, Scotiabank is literally perfect, esports usually do operate at basketball/hockeyesque capacity stadiums

posted 2 months ago

scotiabank is probably too big, coca cola coliseum is the best bet prolly
I ve thought scotia was 30k, dunno why, 19k seems reasonable

posted 2 months ago

ranked in any game is a fucking casino, I remember seeing an interview from zeus (CS GO legend) . ''In CS(or valo as for my point) you can have perfect utility usage, perfect strategy, comm everything perfectly, outplay your opponent tactically, but if you into site and the enemy just one taps you, you can't do shit''. Same for fucking ranked, an autist pushing into a smoke just because he feels like it will probably shit on the guy who plays the percentages

posted 2 months ago

pretty sure chelsea can have two full lineups just of wingers

posted 2 months ago

no one cares about most franchising shit teams, no offense

posted 2 months ago

doesn't play cuz his buyout is huge

posted 2 months ago

Good enough, welcome to Valorant Thorfinn, Son of Thors

posted 2 months ago

Console sweats are probably the saddest people to exist tbh

posted 2 months ago

Navi could technically do it for the LOLs. He is under contract for a year and a half

posted 2 months ago

every event has open and closed qualifiers hosted, it does favour legacy orgs, however tier 2 teams have a higher chance to attend events ( due to load management from tier 1) and knowing there will be different formats like Blast Rivals with 32 teams, plenty of teams will get rated, will get more tier 1 exposure therefore improving their team's level.

posted 2 months ago

so approx. 1.2 mil for champs and 600k without them. Pretty sure the difference between going to champs and spending more on salaries and missing champs with lower salaries is +- the same no?

posted 2 months ago

CS has growing viewership, developing tier 1.5-2 scene in different parts of the world, several TOs, full sold outs at every event and growing prize pools yet the game is dying?
