america has a different problem, the talent is separated among different teams

posted 3 months ago

When was the last time EMEA won an event?

posted 3 months ago

Maybe because the best tier 1 prospects choose cs instead of valorant? you are free to argue if eu val has fallen off, but because cs remains more popular, val simply doesn't have such a huge source of talent there, like apac or china or americas?

posted 3 months ago

navi is not cursed, their management is absolutely degenerate, the only reason their cs roster is good cuz blade is a mastermind

posted 3 months ago

they should copy hltv where author pieces are marked with green, matches are marked with red, threads are marked with yellow. Makes it way easier to navigate

posted 3 months ago

obviosuly he himself by signing the contract :D

posted 3 months ago

Leo Faria slander is generational, probably peek'd when some idiot wrote that they need to shoot him during bangkok

posted 3 months ago

oxy is in his 1v9 stage

posted 3 months ago

damn they were high on some emea copium

I am Mr.Worldwide

posted 4 months ago

I just don't understand, so like in 5 year time when people will talk about Bangkok they will say ''WELL ACTUALLY EDG CHOKED AND TRACE AND DRX WERE OUT IN GROUPS SO ASIA IS STILL SHIT'

posted 4 months ago

right now Asia's best > West's best, it's all that matters

posted 4 months ago

he never actually tried to improve tho, he played it with his gf afaik

posted 4 months ago

I like how a random brain rot discussion from one thread has transitioned to another thread, I truly love the internet

posted 4 months ago

when the fuck did a valorant discussion turn into a political discussion? Or did I miss something and leaf's chamber actually started an uprising in Bolivia?

posted 4 months ago

tejo player is fucking wild :D maybe sova as well, ukraine's drone production has been quite massive

posted 4 months ago

I mean obviously it is fiction, but imo it is scientifically proven that for CIS to dominate in any esport we need 2 Ukrainians + 3 russians (navi 2021 from cs, spirit from dota in 2021 and 2023). Now because Ukraine has only 1 pro in val, I needed someone. This someone is s1mple. he still is in contract jail, doesn't really wanna play cs, spirit buys the slot from navi alongside his contract for valorant, ez era

posted 4 months ago

2022 fpx doesn't count, it had ardiis and zyppan who are not russian speakers. we need another navi 2021, another spirit 2021-2023 from dota

posted 4 months ago

zyppan is not a russian speaker, cis can only dominate with people out of post-soviet union (guardian is an exception, he an honorary ukrainian/russian)

posted 4 months ago

this would bring peace to the ukraine-russia war

posted 4 months ago

spirit buys navi's slot mid-season, chronicle-something-s1mple-ange1-nAts

posted 4 months ago

loses in probably the closest grand final series of all time = -2 players
please tell me are you n4rrate-word

posted 4 months ago

honestly I would rather lose 2-3 in a close fashion and understand that you need to just do small adjustments to win next time than get blown out 0-3 and feel like utter dog shit

posted 4 months ago

age has more to do with your motivation and time dedicated to esports, not your in game form

posted 4 months ago

I mean it's ok I guess, val has a lot of people who have no back ground with CS, ofc they will like a more overwatchish gameplay

posted 4 months ago

I mean cs2 is getting better with updates, welcome back bro

posted 4 months ago

he might get some chance of a job in cs, complexity will remove their coach so now chet gets a job (maybe)

posted 4 months ago

most og cs orgs already have a roster
virtus pro have a shit ton of money (sponsored by totally not russian money ofc)
og are running on a budget afaik
falcons left just recently
EF are in tier 2
Astralis have danish only policy
gamerlegion would rather not invest a lot into another discipline
nip are a shit show

posted 4 months ago

I feel like this politic of releasing more and more agents will just once fuck the balance up entirely and create a briggite overwatch situation

posted 4 months ago

afaik there are teams who bought property in berlin (e.g. navi), so forcing them to another place is just not good

posted 4 months ago

how ironic calling berlin a boring city when a lot of your countrymen live there :D

posted 4 months ago

CIS is all that, add kyousuke and deko to chronicle-nats-trexx and we have a 8 time international winner

posted 4 months ago

can't wait for absolutes, dead insides and egoists to transfer their cancer cells to yet another community, val community is yet to see ''1000-7 ghoul mode'' go 30-5 while going 100% hs

posted 4 months ago

gambit - ceased to exist, dead org
vp - moved to armenia, maybe a possible expansion, but they can get thru even without the war ending
spirit - best candidate, denounced the war, moved to serbia, biggest org amongst russian speakers after navi left the russian scene

posted 4 months ago

oh yeah, of course. I feel like if valve wanted, CS could have double the prize pool of what TI had, easily

posted 4 months ago

by C's I assume CS? and also why is better?

posted 4 months ago

because every org knew that riot would sooner or later apply a franchising system and the more they spend the higher likelihood they had of getting into the league

posted 4 months ago

CS has a scene which was built up for 20 years, by far the biggest tier 2-3 scene out of any other esport, CS probably has the best structure for growth imo

posted 4 months ago

valve literally has 0 impact on events like esl, blast, pgl. Valve are only related to two events, the 2 majors. Valve's impact is just Valve Ranking System and the majors, That is it. And they easily get back what they lose on the majors via stickers.

posted 4 months ago

probably korea or china, basically a core of international winning teams + a strong individual player

posted 4 months ago

Franchising is ride or die, you either keep it or your entire scene is fucked. The reason why it was easy for cs to jump from franchising to open circuit is because it had several circuits, the main one being the major which remained fully open (unlike esl and blast)

posted 4 months ago

I mean yeah? Which is why they shortened the number of teams in franchising from like 14 to 12 no? and why they will not add a 4th international LAN? Meanwhile CS can afford to have 30+ t1 events in one year so I guess Open circuit is better

posted 4 months ago

I mean cs ecosystem is somewhat profitable, stickers allow orgs to exist, + bookies give finances for orgs to exist before that. Now almost every TO offers special programs for teams who choose their events so that they get a couple of millions just for attending
Like just this year all prize pool money combined reaches numbers north of 25 million dollars

posted 4 months ago

I meant distance wise

posted 4 months ago

asia seems way too big, how about 6 regions?

posted 4 months ago

between Europe and Korea and China? So stretching from Iran to Japan? Seems crazy to me. I would say that you host open quals in underrepresented regions, as well as the main regions, and just force them to play. Sooner or later the scenes will catch up and we might get an OCE team, a MENA team, simply cuz they play with their competition

posted 4 months ago

teams like rankers are one-offs imo, there needs to be a better mechanism to move up to tier 1 instead of ascension

posted 4 months ago

but those won't come back, and the ones who are in will leave as well, sadge
