Then they got scammed
Yup, but he is too young sadly. He'll eventually make it. Talents like the Parla ones, Woot, Burzzy are all looking amazing and have a bright future ahead
But he wasn’t IGLing at that time was he? I thought that just happened for the GLoot?
Yup, BBL could have made a great roster around them. But instead they chose to make whatever this is lol
Quitoner and Brave are the two carries of this team, or that's my understanding
Bruhhhhh that was two years ago, that's not a pattern xDD
I mean he hasn't beaten any of them either? Has he? xD
Maybe waiting for the Open quals to finish?
Okay well, I'm not gonna discuss the numbers cause I don't know em, but even if that was the case that doesn't change the fact that one makes more money than the other. Would you rather lose 20 bucks a month or 10? If you couldn't afford to lose 30? Would you rather get rid of who makes you lose 20 or who makes you lose 10?
Famsii is already signed with UCAM
Idk where you get the idea that no team is profitable but that's straight up not true. Sure, many smaller orgs are just inversions for the future and not worth at all rn. But orgs like C9, TL or G2 make millions a year, and no, it's not just from hiring streamers
I'm sorry but the female scene does not generate the same the male one does, for whatever the reason is. That's just how it is, people are more interested therefore brands pay more, it's not deeper than that.
About the chats, I don't usually watch ranked streamings at all so haven't been in many chats, but trust me I can imagine how bad that shit is. Just look at how many transphobes there were with bob during last tournament. But that's a society issue, feel really bad for them in that aspect
They're in open qualifiers rn, playing in 3 days if I'm not wrong. It does say the deal is not finished, probably waiting for that or the invite, one of the 2
Good roster and good coach, they're about to make some bank tho, GUILD pays like crazy xD
Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. Orgs don't get money from prizepools, they get them from sponsors, merchandise sales etc. Who sells more shirts, yay or Bob? Who has more people on stream? Who's tournaments are more watched? That's what sponsors pay.
So yeah again, exact same case than traditional sports, Women don't get paid less because "They are worse and biologically inferior", they get paid less because less people watched them play, as simple as that
Sure, that's game changers purpose, and that's why Riot has set a whole circuit to promote it, a circuit that has been the most watched out of any female circuit in any game. But orgs are business my friend, not ONGs, it's not about what's fair or what's not or who's better and who's not, it's about who makes itself worth for the org. So, if you do not generate the same numbers the male team does, the org can't give away money just because.
Exactly, C9 dropped their roster, good you mention it, we do not know why. But now imagine C9 Blue places 4th next champions, would they have dropped them? So why did they drop the girls and leave the female scene even after so much success? Maybe because it wasn't worth out for them?
Yeah no that's not how it works. This is not like a two persons doing the same job getting paid different, it's like two athletes doing different jobs getting paid different. Completely different cases, for example, does a female football player get paid the same?
For the people who mentioned Madrid, my guess is if they wanted it here it would be in Barcelona since there's where Riot has it's offices. And honestly if it was to be in Europe I think it's pretty likely since Riot was about to do the VCT in Barcelona instead of Berlin, but teams complained since they were already established there for LEC
You can give the street number if you want too
Since they made LEC they seem less annoying xDDD
Hell nah, have Sen even started practicing?
Well actually, most part of Istanbul is not in Europe, if you wanna be technical you would have to check in which side on the Bosphorus strait the stadium was. But I’m pretty sure it was the Asian side
Nope, Bind and Breeze are going out to leave space for Split and the new map
I think it’s the perfect combination between stability and story telling for orgs but also leaving the path open for any open talent to make it by themselves. Valorant has a bright future
I mean I'm not completely sure but what I'm sensing here is that they are applying everything they did in LOL they actually liked how turned out, and remaking everything that they didn't like how it turned out (Like not giving orgs full control over spots etc). At the end of the day LOL competitive system was created many years ago and I feel like they've learned a lot.
But that's just my opinion tho, we can't really know how good of decisions this are until we actually see the long term results. I'm really really excited tho, I love the ascension and own version of franchising idea
Yeah and no. I mean they can increase the number of splits but I don't dislike the rule. There is a tier 3 circuit to start growing talent and tbf if a player wants to make VRL they need some minimums, I don't buy the idea of forcing 30 regional players if they don't have the level. And also arguably by doing that you would create more Spanish tier 2 players, but less Spanish tier 1 players since the level would obviously be lower. So it does have it's downs but it also has it's ups and it works the same way in LOL for example and in my opinion it's pretty successful so I don't see why it wouldn't here.
Also that rule rewards longterm projects and big investments, even allows the possibility to create an ascension roster on every league and create more competitiveness so some leagues don't just stay behind forever
Yeah Turkey does have a shit tone of talent, just not title contenders yet other than the cned and alfajer, and they're not available to make a full Turkish team
Yeah we lack talent, but we got 3 orgs and that's good enough for me. And about the 3 regional player per league, they are gonna keep that rule. Bu there is another rule, starting from this year, every player that plays 2 splits in a league becomes regional. For example it's already happening in Spain with Rebels. Rebels it's keeping a 6 man roster with Gatsh, Janny, and Vokashu rotating the places in order to make them be regional for next year.
Yeah sad that there's not a CIS VRL but it's understandable why they didn't
Pretty sure BaddyG did IGL last split on Vitality, so that would make it even better roster yeah
Surprising Ig. I don't agree at all, but we'll see
Sure, but don't you think if he is free agent is for a reason? Don't get me wrong he is a tier 1 player, just not a player that would turn KC into a contender for anything.
Edit: And actually now that I think about it Finland could also be one of those few nations that could make a full national team that would contend for everything imo
Yeah no, that's the issue, same one BBL and fut have. There's just not enough talent in their countries to make a contender team. (Turkey could if they had cned and alfajer available and talent not so spread, but not like this). Tbh russia and is pretty much the best country that could be contender for anything in EMEA with a national team
Bottom 5, which is not necessarily bad. But they're a step behind on the fight for any type of contention
They had 4 match points that game
KRU vs GMB, I just wanted KRU to finish that run so bad
Dang, really? I kinda find the opposite, russz is underrated, I’ve been seeing him play all season and even if the conditions weren’t the best you could tell how he is a world class player. But Ig it is pretty hard to know. Fair enough
What about Riens and reazy? Are they good?
