Anyway, residency would make sense imo because of the 2 split rule, if you are gonna allow players that have played 2 splits to count as regional you might swell count players who have lived in a country for over a year to get their residency

Rebels is a project for the future, they are trying to make Janny, Gatsh and Vokashu regional players. Next split they will be able to have a full foreign roster due to the 2 split rule. That's why they have a 6 man roster rn

Yeah so, we got VCT which are the 3 big franchised leagues Americas, EMEA and Asia, and to get to those leagues you have to be partnered with Riot, and given a contract that lasts 4 years. The other way to get into VCT is through winning your countries VCL (Every major country has one, and yeah most of them do have Open qualifiers), and then competing in an Ascension tournament for a spot in VCT
