yeah, #2 requires seriously changing her ult. I think #1 is the easiest thing to do without totally reworking her, and honestly I'd prefer that. Plus, #1 makes her ult actually more useful because now without ult you can't refresh dismiss/devour.

I'm pretty confident that the Reyna rework will be one of the following:

1. Her dismiss/devour are no longer her signature; instead her lears are her signature; helps team environments because now you can have more than two lears to support teammates, while limiting the ability of smurfs to endlessly get out of fights/get heals to equalize the next fight; her ult stays the same (simplest solution, but somehow I feel Riot wouldn't implement something so simple)

2. Her util takes the "Astra" route: She gets 3 charges, which can be used for any one of lear/dismiss/devour; still has to get a kill to use dismiss/devour, but can use a charge for lear without getting a kill; her ult would have to get reworked for this though, and I'm not sure how, because her ult staying as is would mean she has infinite lears with this rework. (I wouldn't go for this, but would not be suprised if Riot did something like this).

I don't really see the rework deviating far from the above two options because anything else would just go against her character.

It is. Overall power level of abilities has gone down, forcing players and teams to make the most of limited abilities. Jett is so weak compared to what she used to be, and yet today's best jett players still make her look broken. The ever growing agent pool means that comp variability has gone up, forcing teams to adapt more. And even with old comps, people have innovated. GenG's ascent at madrid was the best Ascent we've ever had with the default comp. The level of play at champs and tokyo was higher than madrid, but madrid was definitely higher level than lockin, and I'd argue it was better than any of the 2022 masters. In terms of highest levels of play, I'd say 1 goes to champs 23 and 2 goes to champs 22.
