No, GenG's problem is different. They have incredibly strong midrounding and the ability to pick up a comp for a map. Their issue is that the massive map pool changes have nerfed them. They should be able to win most BO3's but will massively struggle in a BO5 w/o double map ban
I fail to see why a SEN fan has such a massive rage boner against the team who gave SEN their best IGL ever.
DSG has a decent chance. The team has great firepower.
They've come into form in playoffs. They are looking like peak M80 from last year now. The midrounding is a bit weaker, but they have better set protocols to compensate for it.

I did watch them. They tried to change their ascent comp in the grand final and it failed miserably.
They have solid comps with good protocols that will work against mid table teams and below but will be picked apart with serious anti strat. If you want to watch what Fnatic looks like in response to having their established comp antistrated for the first time, watch the lotus game against Loud in the first round of playoffs 2023.
Fnatic does not have time to change comps across their maps. There is a lot of footage on them. Boaster has not shown he can handle having super strong anti used against him.

Seems like cap to me. The talent hasn't improved in LATAM. M80 is confirmed going, and they tore through the competition last year alongside Guard (now G2). Whichever one of OXG or MxS make it have much better protocols and firepower to match.
I'd like DSG to win APAC ascension, but FS and a couple others are looking very scary.
I don't think Fnatic can win champs. If they get out of groups they'll do well, but their issue has always been their inability to adapt to the meta and changing comps. They only get good with lots of reps, after which they look unstoppable for a bit, but then their protocols get studied and they struggle to adapt to someone's hard read on them.
IDK about red bull and eu ascension.
I get that everyone likes shitting on Oderus, but he was not the problem today and has been coming up big in their playoff games. The problem was some poorly called rounds by flyuh + overpeeking and impatience on holding angles from v1c
NA farmed SA and BR in Ascension last year, and will most likely do the same this year.
MxS on the other hand is looking cooked. They're probably going to lose just like last year, one step away from Ascension. Insane.

I am literally going through your problem, and eventually I figured this out for myself, and then as I got into the rythym of being productive, since I finally felt good about myself, it's become easier to start things.
