Bro lost the Shanghai debate, so now he's going back to masters 1 from two years ago

posted 6 months ago

Brother you did not need to go this hard after me lmao. My response to you was entirely justified given that you just randomly joined a thread saying "penis", and nothing else lmao.

posted 6 months ago

My fault. Since the only Russians I speak to are my parents/grandparents, I'm not familiar with what memes have gotten transferred to the youth over in Russia.

"Нет ты" just doesn't make sense to me in the context of Russian culture.

posted 6 months ago

Are you a fake Russian? Did you really put "no you" into Google translate?

posted 6 months ago

No, you're inferior because you don't even know the history of the single language you can speak, and yet you claim that it is "superior."

I'm willing to be cringe if it gets this dumbass banned.

You have an unfounded superiority complex, and when someone points out to you how your ACTIONS are making you inferior, you call it being a "nerd."

I am the educated American you can only envision yourself as.

posted 6 months ago

It's honestly infuriating to see idiots give the rest of us US citizens a bad name.

Maybe if the pros of your region were not as delusional as you in blindly thinking "we're the better region" and put in the time and effort to develop macro strategy, micro coordination, and respect other regions via anti-strat, then EMEA could be the best overall region.

Not all pros in your region are like this, but the majority of them are.

edit: bro edited his post, but to clarify why EMEA wasn't the best overall region at Shanghai:

EMEA: 2nd, 5th/6th, 7th/8th
AMER: 3rd, 4th, 9th/10th
APAC: 1st, 5th/6th, 11th/12th
CH: not gonna bother

The AMER team were more consistent than EMEA, and the 3rd place AMER team beat the best EMEA team twice before losing to them. It took TH 3 tries to beat G2. AMER was the most consistent region at Shanghai.

Asuna Yuuki got permabanned, I believe.

Fuck off, you're exactly the same as amovie except you don't use racism in your baits.

posted 6 months ago

amovie is a vlr user who uses racism/discrimination to bait engagement out of others to compensate for the lack of attention he receives from his family. He brings nothing useful to this site, and should be IP-banned from using vlr.

Today, he made a thread demeaning non-english speaking vlr users, which besides being discriminatory is asinine, as VCT viewers whose first language isn't english outnumber vlr users whose first language is english by at least 2x (and that's a conservative estimate). Curiously, he calls those who can't fully learn english ignorant, which is rich coming from a guy who has made some of the most ignorant posts I have ever seen within the 10 days that his account has existed.

If he had a modicum of intellect or even knew a little bit of history, he would understand that the reason why english is difficult to learn as a 2nd language is that english is the fucked up love child of Gaelic (language of the native Celts), German (from the invasion of the Saxons), and French/Latin (from the invasion of the Normans), leading to it having a wildly inconsistent grammatical structure. However, I'm not that surprised, as ignorant racists who talk about superiority typically don't even know the history of their own people and language.

This post of his from today is a follow-up to a thread from 4 days ago calling to ban all non-Americans, which was already deleted by the mods. It doesn't matter how many temporary bans he receives, he's going to continue making these threads, so he should be IP-banned.

If you see the username "amovie", do not interact. He's just looking for attention in an extremely despicable way.

cmon now, if it was that, I would have called it receipts

posted 6 months ago

yeah something must be going on with him

holy cringe (the user dm'ing you)

posted 6 months ago

We aren't looking good right now. We need to lock in like Loud did in champs 2023 after losing game 1 to DRX

posted 6 months ago

I don't think this will happen, but on the off chance it does, delete your vlr account.

posted 6 months ago

Yeah. They really need to just get on the same page.

posted 6 months ago

Brimstan is gone bro.

And tldr they aren't playing on the same page/aren't playing together

posted 6 months ago

Please stop being stupid. I'm not joking around.

posted 6 months ago

There's another possibility other than burnout for why Jinggg is missing shots he usually hits in the past, but to fully explore that would be disrespectful is all I'm going to say.

posted 6 months ago

This is actually a good video from TMV pointing out the issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS4HN55EnYA

They are not playing on the same page. Some of the players are playing scared while something, credit to him, is not losing his confidence most of the time. Also some bad decisions from Davai and mf this game.

posted 6 months ago

Not really. This video by TMV actually really points out what the problems were: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS4HN55EnYA

posted 6 months ago

It will be somewhat random. I'm going to go through the posts and pick out users.

posted 6 months ago

Sorry, but I'm not giving it to accounts made today or later bc I can't tell if it is an alt for double entry or not.

posted 6 months ago

I will only give it to accounts that were created before today obviously. But other than that no restriction.

posted 6 months ago

Because all of the old muscle memory is useless. Did you watch the TLN-LEV game? The neon looked super good

posted 6 months ago

I will potentially still be down $5 because I'll have to owe someone a $25 gift card if PRX win. If PRX can beat G2's bind, that greatly increases their chances of winning, but still G2 are so strong on so many maps.

posted 6 months ago

I just realized, did Talon lowkey reveal PRX's bind?

Think about it:
PRX's last known bind comp was raze yoru gekko viper omen

Talon's comp was neon yoru skye viper omen

PRX pivoted from the raze to Neon on Lotus, so it makes sense that they would pivot to neon on other maps.

Plus it's plausible they were scrimming bc they aren't in the same group.

Thoughts?

thanks again for the advice

posted 6 months ago

much appreciated! I think the white space would be pretty obvious in the url. Just making sure that it can't use a legit domain somehow.

posted 6 months ago

I hope so

posted 6 months ago

got it. so an x.com link will always be legit right?

posted 6 months ago

I typically check domains, but from what I understand some IP grabbers use the legit domain? also how would you check for redirects

posted 6 months ago

How can you easily identify a link as an IP grabber?

posted 6 months ago

I just edited my comment to address this. Basically 5th/6th and 7th/8th will have the same placement.

posted 6 months ago

edited my comment. with playoffs it's 3.3 billion

posted 6 months ago

I just edited my comment. the answer is 3.3 billion

posted 6 months ago

right this is only for groups

posted 6 months ago

Is playoffs the same where you just pick 1st through 8th?

posted 6 months ago

I hope so

posted 6 months ago

Number of outcomes in a group: 4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24

Number of outcomes for 2 groups = 24 x 24 = 576

Number of outcomes for 3 groups = 576 x 24 = 13,824

Number of outcomes for 4 groups = 13,824 x 24 = 331,776

Therefore, 331,776 accounts.

edit: the above is only for groups.

Assuming playoffs pickem works the same (pick 1st through 8th), then

331,776 x 8! = 13,377,208,320

So you need 13 over billion accounts in a simple pick 1st through 8th on playoffs.

However, in playoffs, 7th/8th, and 5th/6th are placed the same, so really it isn't 8! for playoff outcomes

it will be 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x (4 choose 2) = 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x 6 = 10,080

so the actual number of accounts needed is 10,080 x 331,776 = 3,344,302,080

so in reality, you only need a little over 3.3 billion accounts

posted 6 months ago

IDK how that is related at all.

posted 6 months ago

No I do want them to win. I don't want those wins to be soiled by shitty baiters though, so I'm doing this to counter balance that.

posted 6 months ago

I don't think so. I'm down to pay for PRX to win. TBH I think I'm countering the jinx of all the shitty PRX baiters
