You’re making up hypothetical but the clear fact of the matter is that EDG had the most successful year.

Won the most money internationally and regionally
4/4 grand finals wins
Most champs points
Won champs
Can all themselves world champions (riot don’t call masters winner world champions)

posted 3 months ago

Based off international placement EDG won the most money by a long shot

posted 3 months ago

I get that everyone disagrees but based off the hard evidence how can you say EDG aren’t the clear cut best team of 2024. I feel that people are using their bias because they think GenG deserve it

posted 3 months ago

EDG won 4/4 lan grand finals

posted 3 months ago

But why aren’t they the best team of the year

-most titles

  • most successful regionally
  • most successful internationally
  • most champs points
  • won the most important tournament
  • highest prize pool earnings
posted 3 months ago

So you are basically telling me that you still believe that champs is equal to a masters when the VCT is basically just a tour leading up to champs. And youre telling me that the best team in 2024 isnt the team that had the most champs points, most titles, won the most money. champs having a 1st prize equal to 4x madrid 1st places and almost 3x shanghai 1st places.

posted 3 months ago

TH is clearly 1st. PRX wins titles at least

posted 3 months ago

If we consider placements at all 3 international tournaments they won the most money across all 3 tournaments. So we got a team that ended the year with
the most important international win
made the most money
had the most titles
had the most champions points

posted 3 months ago

id say maybe in 2021 and 2022 this statement is true but in 2023 and 2024 the prize money for winning champs skyrocketed to a million making it worth more than both masters combined

posted 3 months ago

all regions are equal but winning champions is the equivalent prize pool wise as winning 2 masters

posted 3 months ago

Masters used to be a regional tournament. Champions has always been an international tournament

posted 3 months ago

winning champions made you more than madrid and shanghai combined

posted 3 months ago

Riot makes the entire year revolve around champions. Champions has the largest prize pool. Teams even qualifying for champions generates a lot of money for the orgs. Champions is not the same as masters

posted 3 months ago

Yea so EDG has the best international placement because they compete in the VCT valorant CHAMPIONS tour and they won champions so they became the most successful team internationally and leading up to champions they were technically the most successful team having the most CHAMPIONS points as well as being the most successful team regionally

posted 3 months ago

Because?

posted 3 months ago

yea so the team thats most successful internationally and regionally should be crowned as the best team. In the valorant CHAMPIONS tour i believe the team with the most CHAMPIONS points and the CHAMPIONS winner should be the best team of 2024. That team literally being EDG

posted 3 months ago

agreed its literally the valorant champions tour

posted 3 months ago

kangkang literally said after winning champs that why couldnt a chinese team win. okay so what youre saying is that edgs 3 regional wins arent as impactful as wins on the international circuit however technically everything is just a lead up to champs. basically what im saying is that edg was the most successful team regionally and internationally (by winning the most important tournament) in 2024

posted 3 months ago

but edg had the most titles and the most important win of the year and the most points. They compete in VCT which is a tour that leads up to champs

posted 3 months ago

I unironically like GENG more but i am just being objective.

posted 3 months ago

Oh i understand my mistake. That does not change my main argument about how EDG has the most titles this year and are 100% winrate in grandfinals. Also I do not actually believe kickoff counts. I don't think prize money was awarded

posted 3 months ago

im at 14% lol. I my headshot percentage on vandal is around 21-25 and phantom is at about 20. I prefer the vandal because of the faster time to kill in bodyshots at anything above 15m and also so that my wallbangs are more effective over larger ranges. But anyhow Ill try your advice about the preaim

posted 3 months ago

i do i main raze/sova

posted 3 months ago

i dont think tracker considers ops into its headshot percentage. Additionally, I am a vandal user mainly. I use it bc bodyshot time to kill on vandal is faster than phantom anything past 15m.

posted 3 months ago

hopefully a pro sees this

posted 3 months ago

at least PRX has regional titles, TH chokes in the region too

posted 3 months ago

GenG only won 1 regional title they lost to PRX at the first one. They only made 1 extra grand final. EDG has a 100% finals win rate 3/3 while geng is 2/4. Your information is incorrect

posted 3 months ago

For ranked players do yall think headshot percentage matters? Based on the valorant tracker headshot percentages https://tracker.gg/valorant/insights?
Although according to tracker theres an upward trend it seems where the higher you go up in rank your headshot percentage goes up slightly. However my headshot percentage lands between an iron and bronze player but I'm a 15x immortal player

posted 3 months ago

No because 2022 optic was actually the first seed from NA going into champs same with 2023 fnatic they were the 1st seed out of emea going into champs as well

posted 3 months ago

EDG beat everyone in the top 4, won 2 regional titles and had the most champs points

posted 3 months ago

EDG champs, 2 regional titles, most champs points
Geng masters, 1 regional title, 4 grand finals
Sen masters, 1 regional title
Th 0/3 grand finals
Prx top 3, every international qualified, 1 regional title
Lev top 3, 1 regional title

posted 3 months ago

EDG champs, 2 regional titles, most champs points
Geng masters, 1 regional title, 4 grand finals
Sen masters, 1 regional title
Th 0/3 grand finals

Lev top 3, 1 regional title

posted 3 months ago

Champs is literally not on par with masters but do you know whats actually on par with eachother? Regional titles which EDG has more of than GENG. GENG only made 4 grand finals and lost 2 of them while EDG made 3 and won all 3.

posted 3 months ago
  1. EDG 3/3 finals win
  2. GenG 2/4 finals win
  3. Sen 2/2 finals win
  4. TH 0/3 finals win
  5. I think people are forgetting that PRX placed 3rd at Madrid making their seasons resume very similiar to Lev however PRX made every international while Lev made 2 so its up for debate
posted 3 months ago

how are you the best team in emea if you cant even win emea

posted 3 months ago

but how do you argue with most titles and winning the most important tournament.

posted 3 months ago

I dont understand how this year has debate on the best team of 2024. I believe EDG has the strongest case for 3 facts.

  1. They won the most titles of any team this year

  2. They won the most important title this year

  3. Most champs points of any team

posted 3 months ago

So EDG has the most titles this year and won the most important tournament. i dont see the debate

posted 3 months ago

How did EDG suck if they won every final and had the most titles this year winning 3/3 finals. GENG also played 4 finals and won 2 of them.

posted 3 months ago

but EDG has the most titles this year with 2 regional titles while GENG has 1

posted 3 months ago

We have to consider everything. EDG won their region twice and won champs. While GenG won shanghai and their regions once but also made every final except champs. EDG has the most titles of any team this year

posted 3 months ago

i'd say bleed was unlucky because they lost many of their players after winning ascension. I believe their best player wasn't 18 and couldn't play in the franchise league. Hopefully yay kept his chair warm for this next season.

posted 3 months ago

The only thing i would disagree with is best team and best duelist.

for duelist texture looks more consistent between raze and jett with the added factor that he's a better oper
I would also say that kangkang looks very consistent across all 3 duelist and can also op.
zekken is a very good neon and raze but lack luster jett and not the best oper. (neon and raze share similar map pools so I don't doc texture for not playing neon)

for best team you have to go with GENG or EDG because
EDG 2 regional titles and Champs
GENG 1 regional title and 1 masters plus every finals besides champs
Sen 1 regional title and 1 masters

posted 3 months ago

dont know who that is

posted 3 months ago

Yea i probably shouldnt, i also feel when I burst someone with rifles. I can send out two more accurate 3 round burst at the enemy way better with the vandal and phantom. I feel the recoil reset is much better on the vandal. Im not too sure if its true but I think I heard that recoil reset is faster on vandal under a certain amount of bullets while the phantom is faster over a certain amount of bullets.

posted 3 months ago

Probably true

posted 3 months ago

regardless of the output of bullets vandal kills faster with body shots at every range above 15 meters

posted 3 months ago

Well yea i enjoyed watching other raze/sova mains like sinatraa and old zekken. I know sinatraa basically only uses phantom and zekken uses vandal in ranked but phantom on stage

posted 3 months ago

For context im a consistent low immortal raze/sova player with an immortal 2 peak. I have a consistent about 14% headshot percentage however about a 25% vandal and a 21% phantom. I dont switch back and forward between the two weapons. My early immortal seasons i only used phantom and now i only use the vandal.

I find that vandal is way more effective on me because i feel that the vandal is easier to spray because the lower fire rate allows me to adjust the spray way better than the phantom. I also feel that recoil reset is much faster on the vandal. I like the vandal more because of the way bang damage and no fall off damage, meaning I will kill someone faster with bodyshots faster on the vandal at every range above 15 meters and since i wall bang a lot the vandal does more damage and the damage wont fall off at range. I find it harder to wallbang someone with a phantom because it can get up to about 7 bullets to kill.

Am I the only one that feels this way? I am asking because i believe the majority of the community associates phantom = spray and vandal = taps.

posted 3 months ago

Are there any Raze sova mains in VCT anymore? I know Sinatraa is one but is no longer in VCT and zekken is the most recent one I can remember until he switch the sova for Jett.
