yes, but not necessarily throw, just have the foresight to focus on a potential future opponent

I hope you realize, that he is hyping SEN because he wants SEN to win so TSM has a chance at getting into LCQ.

It's 6x now.. Tf is going on? Turkish oiler putting bets in?

Edit: It's displayed wrong on vlr.gg, it's actually 6x for fireflux... Come on vlr

Btw the match note header has the map picks repeated twice.

That's crazy, close to 3x odds for guild.

Sure, but now you are just speculating about what the causal factor of split being CT-sided is. That doesn't change anything for the observers.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't even know what you are trying to say here. Are you saying, that it is not a statistical fact, that Split has a higher defender round win% meaning it is CT sided?

posted about 3 years ago

I mean here you have a very low sample size.. Ofc no one is saying a team literally can't have a higher attack win % over another team on a given day.

posted about 3 years ago

Looks like there will be one correct pick'em today.

posted about 3 years ago

What is your interpretation of what I meant with that statement.

posted about 3 years ago

Weakest map for F4Q, only played once in history + weird ass comp. On the other hand, strongest map for VS, 81% attacker side round winrate, 92% defender side round winrate. Rough to watch, go next.

Context matters; under what situation did he get the ban?

If he got the ban, because he cheated in an official and effectively fucked over other players careers, then it's a problem. If he used a cheat in matchmaking, or pub server, it's easily forgivable for someone under 18. It happened over 6 years ago, so I see no reason to bring that drama over to this game, when he's been a successful OW pro for years without any cheating bs.

Guess having to play straight after another game really did take somewhat of a toll on both of these teams, the margins were incredibly tight for FPX's win condition(Bind). Maybe in hindsight, if they just accepted the L vs SMB and fully prepped into going for lowers would've changed things. For OXG, I don't think not having that toll would've changed much, they just ran out of oxygen it seems.

Maybe they really prepped their all to win vs G2 and didn't prep for lower bracket vs Liquid and had to face them right away.

posted about 3 years ago

People downvote you, but they will cry when they see the bracket.

posted about 3 years ago

In an interview bonecold implied, that they're fine as long as they don't face gambit, so I suspect gambit is good at playing against acend. I still lean towards acend. I think smb can slap g2.

This is a very successful bait.. 30 replies. OP eating good tonight.

4 dangerous teams. But I hope their tactical depth holds against seasoned teams like Sentinels.

posted about 3 years ago

SMB aim is so much better than FPX. It's insane.

posted about 3 years ago

How would that change anything I suggested? All the games would be streamed on the same channels, the only difference being the day.

Instead of having them jump straight into the losers bracket and playing an elimination game on the same day, they could play it tomorrow four games on the same day two per channel, just like the first day. This would be the best way to preserve integrity. My question is: What is the barrier?

I think at the end of the day, it can only be answered by a tournament official. I just figured, if there's something obvious I missed, someone would point it out, but alas there seems to not be.

posted about 3 years ago

That makes sense to me, given that the other games were scheduled for the 15th, but couldn't both sets be streamed for tomorrow? They streamed four matches in the first day, for example.

It seems strange, that they can in the name of prespecified scheduling create an imbalanced situation for one set of the teams(which was out of the teams control), considering how important prep and anti-stratting is in this game. If competitive integrity is at the heart of this, rescheduling should not be an issue, as it was seemingly not an issue for today.

posted about 3 years ago

Can some genius explain to me the reasoning, that the loser of G2/OXG & FPX/SMB will have to play an elimination BO3 later today. Instead why don't the other teams, that have had a day to wait playing their BO3? Why do they play on the 15th?

Am I hallucinating or is this indeed the case?

They were two rounds away from knocking out fnatic in lowers.. The tier 2 EU scene has just gotten a lot stronger tbh.

posted about 3 years ago

You seem to be right. That's good, but still sucks from the viewer POV.

Edit: Nvm, not the case. Straight to LB.

Image Material and rrtyui's GOATED performance.

posted about 3 years ago

That sucks ass.. So does that mean they finish the game tomorrow and right after that have to play in LB?

I didn't even know they'd have to use a submarine cable to route traffic to the rest of Europe, cool.

If it's code 5 it seems like it can be an authentication server issue.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't think that's how it works. They all connect to the same server in Frankfurt. There is something in between the server and the Turkish nationals that is getting fucked, probably.

Edit: I think it can be Riot's Turkish auth servers too, it depends, seems to be affecting many Riot titles.

posted about 3 years ago

Taniz still said it can be routing. So internet infrastructure is still an option. Maybe a Turkish ISP's router, that routes packets internationally between Frankfurt & Turkey shit itself?
