My dream would be they are a pre-ascention tournament at the end of split 1 that gives a direct qualifier to ascension if they win (You qualify the 2 team of MENA), and then for the real ascention you qualify the winner of every region (The 10th place, is for the Split 1 qualified)

I don't know why APAC team nerf themself by doing not full nationality team, ok the player pool is bigger, but it's way harder to communicate, and it's not like a T2 region is dominating the other, maybe KR is a little bit higher, but that even more a nonsense to not go full KR

And if you want to make a cis league and still sanction you can broadcast it only in Ukrainien and organize it by a Ukrainien TO (You can even organize it by US TO it would change anything since it's online)

Levant -NA top 2 is 9 CIS player (8 if you don't count Lituinia, but in LoL Baltic were put in both), Spain top 1 is full of CIS player, more we wait for a Russian team more in long terme EMEA ascention may end looking like Russian league and this is not good for anyone. (And please fuse Spain with at least Portugal, this is starting to be ridiculous with team retiring every years)

Stage 2 is ending the round-robin we have start in stage one. You can still have 11 team ending in 5-5 (And even if you though it was only intragroup they could all have end 2-2)

What valorant map doesn't need smokes ? I really don't see a map where smoke wont be played. Same for info, info is so mush important to manage space, (in LoL ward/info is basically what make a good support).
To be fair I kinda wish they are no meta comp, if smokes would have been balanced, it would have been amazing to have team that pick their agent based on what their teamate love "Oh you prefer Astra over Omen ? Good lets go Astra then", (That wouldn't shock me if on some team they where an OTP Astra and in other on they are an OTP Omen)
I understand you mush, but I really feel that you see Valorant with the eye of someone that have experience in classical FPS more than MOBA or hero shooter where in some game the pick can make 80% of victory, In a moba if you pick 5 assacin, you loose even if your player like their char.
I'm not saying Valorant pick is as mush important as moba pick, it's obviously not the case, but it's kinda hard to guess how mush the agent pick take a place in the victory. My actual position is this one : You need at least a smoker, and you need at least an agent that gives active vision/info (Sova, Fade, Skye, Gekko), it's usually better to have one diver (But I start thinking if Riot continue to nerf the only 2 agents, we might enter a world where no duelist are viable), If a team as one info and a smoker, i'm raising an eyebrow and give a chance to the weird comp (yes even if it's a Jett on Lotus), but if that's not the case like FUT no vision on Lotus, I will just consider the composition is not good. And I still consider those 2 criteria isn't enough, and I'm a bit laxest and need to find even more (I tend to put "having a diver" as a third criteria but with Icebox and possibly new nerf i'm not sure of that)

More a map is bad and one sided, more we see comeback and a banger game.

Dumb theory that came out of my mind :
You can't nerf smokes as mush as you nerf duelist, initiator or sentinels, wish mean if riot continue to nerf everyone, it's possible at some point only smoker will be strong and we may end in a kinda "goats meta" where we have something like 3 smokes and 2 initiators.
Additional theory, Valorant pyramid of maslow is Smokes > Vision > Initiations > Entry > Flankeeping.
You need a certain amount of smoke to play the game, If you remove a smoke on every smokers, you'll need ever more smoker to do the jobs, so even if you retire a smoke to some smokers you will need even more smoker in your team.
More riot will make agent weak, more smokes pro will have, if riot choose to continue nerfing Jett and Raze instead of reworking 5 other duelist, we won't have more duelist diversity, we will have just no duelist in proplay...
I have a potential answer : manipualte opponent rotation to plant on a empty site the less undercover possible (In the middle of 4 or 5 line), then stall enough time with flash and molly to temporize opponent that have to run threw all map to defuse on a mollyed site against someone that can appear for 4 place different to kill you. Like this you can win 1v3 without taking any kill (But it's the mathematical equivalent of taking a triple kill)

If I wanted to trashtalk NA I would say that a team that have won nothing more than one NA split would enter in top 5 NA team of all the time. But I don't like trashtalk.
Let's be honnest, I'm pretty sure you can find at least 5 NA team that did better than 100T 2024 that only wno 1 split...
I could understand why 2023 100T could not be that important for 2024 since they had make a change (Well, they still have 3 player here so i'll have a nuanced opinion on that), but FNC roster is the same I see no reason why their 2023 experience shouldn't count in the calcul of the ELO. Even if i'm considering doing a soft reset (/2 the ELO of every teams) FNC would stay a little bit above 100T (even if I admit it would be an almost 50-50.
Soft reseting the ELO may be a solution but that would make AP and CN team even higher
How so ? FNC loose only 2 BO3 in 2023, they loose only one in kickoff, and they struggle to qualif to PO like 100T did
FNC is consistent, 100T isn't really yet.
The bot think about long term, if a team have 2 good week like 100T did, it's not enough to pass a team that have been consistently at the top since 2023 (And even more)
Hard to say if FUT loose are against worst team, FNC got a higher ELO than any AM team for obvious reason, so FUT and LEV have almost the same ELO and the game is 50-50 for the bot so thats sounds fair to me.
I think the main diff between the two team is that Fut went to world la year and Lev didn't, FUT proved they can be top 8 world, Lev never did it yet, they have just to win this one (If they done they will be 54% instead of 49%)
It's not they are playing bad, it's more they got a lot of loose this year, they are only in 7-6 this year, if they want to have a better ELO, they need to prove themself. To me their level is a little bit higher that the stat the bot give them (Because the bot is based on past result and it seems they are kinda improving since the start), but they still need to prove her wrong, and thats not by loosing against GEN and G2 that they will do it. To me they are favorite for tomorrow, but the game may not be one sided.

I donno which val influencer said it would be nice to have different format for differentiate different masters, but the idea of having one master a year in a neat place outdoor with semi-extreme condition could be weird, but also kinda intresting.
