?
Yea exactly I've been saying this. He doesn't need to be THE problem to leave, he just needs to be a cause of one of the problems to drag them down. It's that simple. Looking at it from the outside as well it looked like he was the cause of a lot of little problems in the teams mental that ultimately was probably what lead then down the path they took.
Kanpeki isn't THE solution either but he definitely can solve a few of those problems that stemmed from zombs
From watching Kanpeki, he seems to have a pretty good personality, and maybe his aim isn't TenZ level, but it's a step up from Zombs. TenZ has stated that playing off Kanpeki's util has been good since they already had chemistry. I think SEN needs another roster change, and I think it's obvious Shahz or Dapr will be next. Apparently, Riot has already notified the orgs who will be franchised next year, and I'd assume V1 isn't getting a spot. I'd honestly try and see if you can buy out Wippie and Zander if they are serious about contending again. Zander can slide to the controller role, SicK back to Flex, Wippie on Sentinels and Kanpeki can likely learn any new role. That's some insane hopium, but if V1 isn't going to have a spot, why not try?
If ive learnt anything from watching Gambit , OpTic and FPX , is that roster changes wont suddenly create a mirculous team , even the team with best players need time to build chemistry , that is why all the top teams rn are ones which tend to make minimal roster changes or make changes gradually over a very long time
zombs was never the issue . However he wasn't helping the team either. From what was said about him, he lacked motivation to get better, and it showed in game. However that wasn't hte fault of Sen. from a viewing perspective, it looked like they were always a meta behind other teams. When teams played kayo and skye, sen were playing the previous meta. When chamber was released and every team was picking him up, they didn't adjust to him.
that, and their igl making excuses for every loss they have, isn't the best. From an outside perspective (not knowing anything actually going on, but assuming), it looks like they're not noticing their mistakes, and being blind to the faults they're making. It's the lack of accountability and not seeing their mistakes, that I feel is causing their drop in form.
However, I honestly could be 100% wrong. I'm not apart of their team, or social circle. So I have no clue what is really happening. this is just my assumption based on watching them and their streams over the past year or so.
I never really saw anything abuot Zombs other than his streams, which he trolls 90% of the time. It could have been fuelled by frustrating results, performances, etc. We'll never know.
It's a situation that's even hard to assume. I can only think poor performances led to lack of care. I'm most likely wrong here, as even assuming this is hard.
