I think so, because zombs did not really have much drive to get better, I mean he stayed up playing fortnite the day before one of the games, clearly shows the dedication isnt there as much as in others.

He wasn't the problem but he wasn't part of the solution either it seems like. I think the main problem stems from the culture around the team now and not having an IGL who is dedicated to the pro scene.

Good IGL is must have, sentinels need new igl who can make things work cuz currently nothing is working for them and i dont think sharatzam fits the role

Zombs util usage as controller was far better than sick
Edit:maybe cus sick is new to controller, Im also not saying it's zombs fault or not, he was not helping, but idk if he was the problem

Just that he wasn't motivated and didn't really know how to aim to the level of most pros

I completely agree. Sadly I think he won't step down or accept he is in the wrong bc of his ego

No that's not true at all. They were clearly not as good as they were in champs during the playoffs stage 1

zombs was never the issue . However he wasn't helping the team either. From what was said about him, he lacked motivation to get better, and it showed in game. However that wasn't hte fault of Sen. from a viewing perspective, it looked like they were always a meta behind other teams. When teams played kayo and skye, sen were playing the previous meta. When chamber was released and every team was picking him up, they didn't adjust to him.

that, and their igl making excuses for every loss they have, isn't the best. From an outside perspective (not knowing anything actually going on, but assuming), it looks like they're not noticing their mistakes, and being blind to the faults they're making. It's the lack of accountability and not seeing their mistakes, that I feel is causing their drop in form.

However, I honestly could be 100% wrong. I'm not apart of their team, or social circle. So I have no clue what is really happening. this is just my assumption based on watching them and their streams over the past year or so.

Yea exactly I've been saying this. He doesn't need to be THE problem to leave, he just needs to be a cause of one of the problems to drag them down. It's that simple. Looking at it from the outside as well it looked like he was the cause of a lot of little problems in the teams mental that ultimately was probably what lead then down the path they took.
Kanpeki isn't THE solution either but he definitely can solve a few of those problems that stemmed from zombs

Maybe zombs lack of motivation was influenced by some of his teammates or some problems that they have so it got in his head and said fuck this rolly on my wrist

he wasn't the problem but he was definitely one of the problems. The bigger problem is shahz not being able to read his opponents and not putting the hours or his org not invest in good coaching stuff to enrich his knowledge and ideas about how to play around the map.

I never really saw anything abuot Zombs other than his streams, which he trolls 90% of the time. It could have been fuelled by frustrating results, performances, etc. We'll never know.
It's a situation that's even hard to assume. I can only think poor performances led to lack of care. I'm most likely wrong here, as even assuming this is hard.

From watching Kanpeki, he seems to have a pretty good personality, and maybe his aim isn't TenZ level, but it's a step up from Zombs. TenZ has stated that playing off Kanpeki's util has been good since they already had chemistry. I think SEN needs another roster change, and I think it's obvious Shahz or Dapr will be next. Apparently, Riot has already notified the orgs who will be franchised next year, and I'd assume V1 isn't getting a spot. I'd honestly try and see if you can buy out Wippie and Zander if they are serious about contending again. Zander can slide to the controller role, SicK back to Flex, Wippie on Sentinels and Kanpeki can likely learn any new role. That's some insane hopium, but if V1 isn't going to have a spot, why not try?

Him staying up the night before has nothing to do with it. If anything zombs was the one who actually wanted SEN to improve when he was on the team and went out of his way to try get a coach etc

If ive learnt anything from watching Gambit , OpTic and FPX , is that roster changes wont suddenly create a mirculous team , even the team with best players need time to build chemistry , that is why all the top teams rn are ones which tend to make minimal roster changes or make changes gradually over a very long time

SEN are really live in the past

Like every other team in NA has adapt Chamber meta but SEN not actively use it
with more and more meta changing, like fade,Neon,Breach etc

Team must require to adapt and creatively make their strats

Sadly the problem with Sentinels is the lack of a coach, an IGL, and the ego of their players

Man didn't play the game at all outside of matches and scrims

Doesn't mean he isn't motivated. Playing scrims tends to build bad habits for these pro players and its proven. Go back to when zombs wasn't playing ranked and only scrims and matches and look how preformed compared to his recent games before being dropped.
