People who say oh its just bigger prize pool are very stupid. No one calls you world champions for lifting a Masters. Acend are world champions and zeek is Champions MVP for a reason. You don't get such honors in any other official Riot event. Cope more!

Edit 1: NA said the same in LoL when Fnatic won the first ever Worlds. Since then NA can barely make it out of group stage at Worlds with 3 seeds and millions of imports.

as a VALORANT player/fan who never played or watched CS before VALORANT, I can give you my view on it. CS is honestly pretty fun to watch, I'm gonna sound like a noob viewer cuz i havent seen much but heres how I saw it: I watched a few matches from the recentish event that FaZe won (i dont remember but i think it was a major?) and it was pretty easily to follow having played that type of game. However, it just felt like it was lacking the WOW factor. The best plays from CS were great aim plays, which don't get me wrong, they're pretty damn impressive, but that just didn't seem as entertaining as the best plays from VALORANT where you got dudes flying around, throwing fireballs with poison clouds covering half the map, and a dude with some kunai knives just snipes a dude from crossmap.

so compared to VALORANT, as a novice viewer, it's def kinda sleeper. But still fun to watch and I would suggest more people from VALORANT check it out.
