Since their disappointment in Iceland, they know the levels they need to be at to win those games. Let's not forget they were dismantling Optic until their lack of experience became apparent and pressure got to them to protect the lead. trent is only 17 btw so in a few years he will easily be top 1 player in NA. I think The Guard are set to have a very successful run in NA for a few years.

No, age is not the defining factor but a benefactor. Trent right now is top 7 at the minimum and he is very consistent at his current age. He just attended first lan of his life so he gets more experience as they qualify for future tournaments and his overall game will be better with time and age.

And I could say the same with Less, who’s even younger than Trent and had much better results than him on his first LAN as well

Except less is on a team where there are at least two players with lots of experience on the team. The guard only has one who isn't even the igl. When taking that into account, it's difficult to compare less and trent right now.
