both teams got eliminated by Loud and Zeta
Unfortunately Liquid faced them very early thanks to rito
if they got better seeding they could have made it to the top 3 just like Optic

reality check for the poor NA fans
your best team is not better than EUs 4th seed
you just got lucky and dodged all the good teams

edit: Calm down guys. Optic played horrible and fluked on Haven and it broke Zeta mental.

Can't make that argument because if you actually watched the DRX/ZETA 1st game you'd realise ZETA was still doing good lol yeah they got better during the tournament but it wasn't a huuuge jump.

Plus you could say DRX were mental boomed because of the OpTic loss.

Plus in Liquid's case you could say ZETA was tired because they'd been on a fucked schedule.

And round difference doesn't matter because TL got clearly dominated by ZETA on 2 maps and couldn't even take double-digit rounds, whereas DRX only got dominated on 1 (if we're talking about the rematch)

DRX beat ZETA 26-5 in their first meetup, TL didn't.

On the rematch, DRX got past double digits on 2 maps and lost 11-13 on Icebox.

Liquid came close to neither of this.

Round differential doesn't mean anything. DRX beat OpTic based on round differential.

Look at the scoreline. It's very obvious that DRX had closer maps than TL.

Liquid looked awful this tournament strategically. The only time they looked good was if Scream or Jampii popped off. As soon as they replace soulcas with someone decent I am more than certain they will be as good as Optic if not better. They have all the right tools minus one player.

zeta has been improving every single game. Liquid faced a much weaker zeta. there's a chance if liquid faced DRX or PRX, they would get dismantled while OpTic actually beat DRX. imo optic > liquid.
