What happened, how did Optic manage to win that game? I honestly had no hopes for them since the beginning and had less after watching the first map. Also LOUD just swept G2???? (expected it to be closer)

Well what happened was that loud

Ascent was dominated by DRX. They seemed to outplay optic in every way even if they were a man down. Optic seemed extremely prepared on icebox. They obviously did their homework and many of their wins were great reads and counters to drx. When it came down to split, neither team had seen gameplay recently, but it was close throughout the whole game and it was amazing.

I feel sad for vs, I'm biased and watched sporadically (so maybe I missed the same things happening to og), but it felt like they were losing unlucky rounds, like that 00.04 almost thrifty on icebox

DRX kinda threw on icebox, and split could have gone either way and was super close. Loud just kinda tossed g2.

people saying "drx choked" are just salty. optic played an amazing game and honestly optic vs drx split was probably the most tense and exhilarating map since the fnc vs m3c series.
