Other than DRX, who can compete at this level? Last time I checked out korea was LCQ and they fell shortly behind SEA and Jp. And the ranking points don't help. Would you say KR is the best region in APAC?

yes. ONS had little time to prepare for this VCT but they for sure have best players in korea. Also DK might put up some competition against international teams with their new roster(incomplete but still)
DRX is far and ahead the best Korean team, they beat every team in their region so i dont think the other teams can get as far
But there are still great teams such as: On S2ayers and DamWon Kia
F4Q will be putting a team together for stage 2 so they will probably be a top 6 team, same with Rio Company
ONS would be a competent T1 team internationally, probably at the same tier or better than NiP
DK and WGS are still missing a few pieces but could also be strong
The new F4Q roster looks promising and Rio Company are rumored to be building a roster with Hyeoni
ONS would do great imo but not sure about DK and F4Q because new roster and have to see them
ONS would without a doubt take the KR+JP slot if it was ever introduced
As for APAC, they are probably around Bleed's level (it's really hard to rate other KR teams though when all we have to scale them off of internationally is DRX)
The rest of the teams I'm not really sure about (since most of their rosters are brand new), but teams like DK and WGS tend to have really high peaks but also super low drops
I actually think ONS is more on Xerxia/PRX level, while damwon is on bleed level

Not to forget that ONS is the only team other team in the world than Nuturn that beat DRX 2-0.
fr narrative used to be that DRX are overhyped now that they've proven they're not the narrative is that KR is one team region LMAO
i would say its a 3 or 4 team region, but the other 2 teams would be on the level of japan in late 2021.

honestly like Damwon Kia's roster, shaping up well, I think they can put up a decent fight but drx still favored
ONS are a brand new team, they had little time to prepare but did show they are very capable, 2-0'ing Drx in bo3 and being decently competitive in their losses

Sorry I had to laugh when I see an idiot call someone else dumb.
I was bummed that Korea was getting one slot bc I was telling my whole discord about how I thought ONS was the team to watch and how they were gonna shock the world. Still think this is possible and it'd be interesting to see how they would fair against the competition. I think this LAN is showing NA, EMEA, and BR are slightly overrated, any region really has a shot.
