Fuck viewership no one cares about that
This tournament is the best one yet in terms of gameplay
Plus all the regions are doing really great
Viewership for Valorant won't be as high as its peaks because of SEN being absent from this event. As sad as it is, sentinels drive viewership in this game like crazy. At champs, even after getting grouped they still had 2/4 of the 4 highest viewed matches at the event... in the GROUP stage. Similarly, sentinels held 3/5 of the top viewed matches at Masters Berlin, with their 2 matches in the GROUP stage against G2 being the 2 highest viewed in the entire tournament... even over the final. Last, 2021 Masters Reykjavik SEN had 3/5 of the top viewed matches with their final against Fnatic breaking 1M in viewership for the first time in Valorant. These guys run this game...

Twitch viewership alone is 330k on average with peak of 541k. YT has streams as well which add atleast 50k-80k (too difficult to count) so you can say that average viewership is around 400k or so which is not bad considering many popular teams are not here.

The teams haven't failed to impress but Riot needs to step it up otherwise. Stage, studio, coaches, PCs, and tech issues are so glaring at this event.
I love the international competition but it just sucks that Riot doesn't try to put 20% more into the event.
