nah he defo has a point, cs is about perfecting the same thing and just 1 upping the team in that set thing (e.g. use of mollies to put out the default smokes on maps etc etc), valorant is more about just pure adaptation and understanding how people can play with different comps, constantly shifting agent balance etc
people will always overreact on nerfs
imo he will just be less viabl on certain maps e.g. ones where he was super strong for fast rotations with tp like breeze and haven
thats really sad
true actually im on g pro wireless since 2018
if you dont get atleast 8-4 on defence first then gl. best to have multiple comps depending on which side start then you can swap chamber and jett interchangeably
old pic from when they did content for announcement m8
same thing happens in alot of traditional sports rn, atleast in valorant russians are allowed to compete - in tennis for example u HAVE to select no nationality or get another citizenship e.g. kazakh
yeh but how braindead is it to split italy/spain/portugal?
yeah its a possibility but that is just how most teams operate in esports - connections
I think valyn is also a good option, but if you are syyko as a coach (someone who works very closely with an igl), you are going to choose someone whose personality you already know (rly important aspect), existing synergy, more experienced overall and not necessarily a bad individual either.
I dont think that is necessarily nepotism either because usually it's something you'd call if the person was unqualified or didn't deserve the position, If you looked objectively at both players I'd say they matchup evenly or even weighted towards dephh due to his more recent results + more experienced.
Ofcourse there might be some bias for Syyko but that is fair in the context of picking players for a team, especially because there was quite a short period of time for the roster lock too, so picking someone who he knows can do the job is a good thing. Also from an outside perspective it's also hard to give an opinion on X or Y's IGLing because most IGLs will have a system where they rely on multiple vocal players within a team, and some players might contribute to mid round calls more than others etc etc etc so other than citing results you can't really judge which igl is better than another
but who would you rather take in the role of IGL than dephh in this case? i think that dephh has alot of individual impact (not something you can say for all igls), and without knowing too much about the innerworkings of his team, seems like a top igl
i mean that is how esports works in all aspects, if you have connections with people it will help you get in teams etc. but i think dephh is the right man for the job anyway so he would get in regardless of knowing the coach
hahah maybe if i was 17 again like him lool - he's very good mechanically though he's been performing for a while
sugarz3ro has some good performances but mako is super consistent and has so much impact, him and pancada are way above anyone else on smokes
mako > sugarz3ro easily
mindfreak is so good in his role tho?
well considering taht NA ppl have no concept of anything outside their own country (geographically) , no surprise theyd not realise how big turkish fanbase is
i dont see anyone playing jett except chronicle in the current lineup though, but i can see sheydos raze, redgar on smokes, jady sova etc etc etc theres alot they can do
jady is obviously more flexible than deffo and it creates space for someone as skilled as chronicle on duelist who up until this breeze map has been quite consistent
both are good players just different roles
i find it bad in pro play too tbh, just utility spam and 0 smart rotation play because of tps
people putting bind in anything except the LOWEST TIER HAHA:D
residency
both blade runner movies
all bong joon-ho directed movies (parasite, the host, memories of murder. all good)
the machinist
se7en
all the 'sigma' memed films like taxi driver, drive, nightcrawler, american psycho, fight club etc
edit: forgot oldboy too, so good
EXCITING GAME GUYS GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!
a week but still coughing even after negative test xd
yeh they are just farming content lol, nothing serious
alot of ppl do that between rounds as like habit
i think you mean ascent right ? i think optic are just testing comps because they are already qualified into playoffs
because the space you get with movement abilities is very important on most maps, utility is good but you need a way to capitalise on it - otherwise im sure youd see no duelist played on more maps than just icebox (i say that because its only map where no duelist is meta)
edit: the amount of utliity in the game is the reason you need duelists, so you can make space through hard chokepoints where util is being dumped (satchel, dash, neon run/slide). icebox doesnt really have those chokepoints so you dont really need a duelist there
thing is his escape ability is strongest in the game so in terms of being ''aggressive and self-sufficient when creating opportunities to engage with opponents' he fits PERFECTLY especially on defence
i mean he definitely can create space, teams are running no duelist comps quite regularly now (even meta on icebox) where chamber is one of the 2/3 first people into bombsites - alot of ppl use him to get info entrying site then tp out before fully committing to duel
whast the point of having the role classification with a description then? if the agents they make actually dont fit inside them.
regardless, it is a sentinel agent so atleast there should be a change to his classification (duelist), and then remove his trip completely and give another ability. those are not stats that should be related to the sentinel role. or nerf his tp ability and give him two trips back, either works
realistically do you think that an org would tell their players they are kicked before the season ends?:D
i think that game was inconsequential since they are locked 1st seed anyway no?
I mean you understand that KOI has a good chance of being a franchised/partnership team next year right?
you forget orgs that possibly want to join franchising such as misfits or rogue
