its still EU > NA because;
number of teams that got sent home by the opposite region
NA: 1
EU: 0
easy
if fnatic loses tomorrow:
I'll still be fucking proud of them... these guys are all so young and except boaster their age average is like 17.5yrs. they still got their whole careers ahead of them. to think they were literal nobodies that couldn't find an org half a year ago, just to be standing on the biggest valorant stage ever and going to fight against legends like shahz and tenz... it's just insane
it only applied to internal NA tournaments anyway, because almost no region besides NA and one other iirc was using double elimination format. also, 6 out of 7 times, whoever started with the map advantage from upper bracket won, and the 7th case was not even a bo5, but a best of3 (starting 1:0 losing 1:2). it's not really appealing to viewers. You already have an advantage when you're in upper bracket because you have to play less games and you don't have to play a game right before grand finals or semi and finals in lower brackets back to back in masters 2 case. Sen played 3 games this tournament, will be 4 with the finals tomorrow. Fnatic played 6 games, will be 7 with the finals tomorrow (with a play in). If they started from same spot as Sentinels (Liquid's spot) and lose first game and ran through lower bracket, it would have been 6 games with the grand finals tomorrow.
