NRG Esports NRG Esports North America Rank #2 FiNESSE Pujan Mehta s0m Sam Oh brawk Brock Somerhalder mada Adam Pampuch Ethan Ethan Arnold have announced that they will be trialing Loic " effys " Sauvageau for the upcoming First Strike events, starting with the first UMG open qualifier.

effys has been on the Gen.G Gen.G Korea Rank #1 Foxy9 Jung Jae-sung (정재성) t3xture Kim Na-ra (김나라) Munchkin Byeon Sang-beom (변상범) yoman Chae Young-moon (채영문) Karon Kim Won-tae (김원태) bench following the organization's signing of Shawn " Shawn12590 " O'Riley in early October. The Canadian had previously been with the organization since May, when Gen.G signed the roster of French Canadians during the game's beta.

Since entering the Valorant scene, NRG have slowly been adding players, originally starting with former Gen.G Counter-Strike duo Sam " s0m " Oh and Damian " daps " Steele. Since October, NRG's active roster has been capped at four permanent players, with the organization cycling through other trials, including former Counter-Strike player Jack " xCeeD " Holiman.

NRG will attempt another run in the First Strike: North America qualifiers, after falling in the Round of 32 in the NSG open qualifier. The roster's opening match will be against Squirtle Squad, starting at 3:00 PM EST.

Well, as we saw from Gen.G they are not better without effy's so maybe he is good support player for NRG

How so? They are losing against teams they had no issue against 2 months ago. They don't look better at all. yeah they won against sentinels, but everyone did this past qualifier, they didn't give a shit

It's based on how much you comment/post and you can get more from upvotes(but not lose any from downvotes). Since he comments on pretty much everything and does multiple times, he has as many stars as he does.

when it comes to the real challenge, andbox, he may not have bottom fragged, but had the lowest ADR and imo could have played the omen a lot better.

Effys is a good player and you can't expect immediate success when they've only been playing with effys for so long. They played a very good team in Andbox and looked pretty good and even could've won it. As much as I love eeiu, I think he would be most at fault for this loss. eeiu seemed very nervous and choked multiple times(on Ascent I think). With that being said, all 5 of them are great players, they had some great executes and plays but they definitely need to work on their post plants on attacker side. Once eeiu can get more confortable in the big games and NRG can get some better post plant positions, I think NRG will be a very good team.
