Evil Geniuses and Knights were the first two to qualify, doing so through the upper bracket. The next two, Luminosity and Rise, sealed their spots in the group stage in their last possible opportunity: the second open qualifier's lower bracket.

Knights came close to qualification last week when they were eliminated one match shy of the qualifying match in the lower bracket. Evil Geniuses, on the other hand, lost their first two matches after making the round of 32 in the first open qualifier.

Rise succeeded in their fourth and final qualifying match after making it to both the upper bracket final and the lower bracket final for two straight weeks.
