that's a ridiculous take. the numbers at Masters back him up, he frags like a demon. but I personally think all duelists are a bit overrated. Nats and players like him are the ones who have the more consistent impact on who wins the match.

About 2 months ago there was some maintenance going on at my Wi-Fi providers' so I had to play on mobile connection for 3 days
Played with 70 ping and honestly didn't notice any difference. Holding angles was a teeny bit harder but that's a core issue with valorant coz it's hard on any ping

he is right tho lol, just take the old clip when teams played against SMB, they played 15 vs 60 ping and got absolutely peekers advantaged, lower ping gives you a better gaming experience but only if eyour enemy is on low ping

He is right though. The difference between 10 ping and 40 ping is minimal. That shouldn't effect your gameplay at all or to so minimal degree that you won't even notice it if you didn't see the number. Ping is just easy scapegoat for bad performances.

It is because 5 ping can hold angle like a bot, but 40ms can't.
To be honest 5-10 ping is REALLY strong at valorant you can easily do switch target taps without taking any damage (if you're good)
It only doesn't matter if 40ping against 70-80ping. but 5-10 ping against 40-50. 5ping will be a GOAT.

If you think hes wrong then youre a crybaby thatll try to pin anything as the reason they lost a duel. 10vs40 ping is literally unnoticeable to any real human, if youre talkin 50 and above sure you have a point but when referring to specifically ping around the 40 range, it isnt noticeable at all. This is coming from someone who has had experience in competitive games in most of which i played at the highest ranks, in fact id say that ping is more important in other games than it is in valorant cause in valorant the ping doesnt pile up with every little thing you do which will put you at a disadvantage. I've even played in immort 3 with 80 ping cause i just felt like choosing a different server and it was not even that big of a problem i got 22/18 on astra and won the game 13:8

I got radiant playing with 60-90ms but the problem isn't 40 ping difference but playing against someone with 5-10 ping because they can hold an angle like a statue (a bot) and will kill you without any effort because low ping in valorant is strong asf, but 30ping vs 50-60ping is ok. but 5 ping vs 30-40 ping u can't even do shit.
Funny thing is even curry who played with 5 ping is saying "It don't even matter" lol, yes you can perform at SAME LEVEL with high ping at COMPETITIVE MATCHES because at ranked ping between your enemies is very similar 30-50 at average, but playing against 2 people with 5ms is really hard asf even for wardell to be able to hold angle with AWP with 40+ ping.
Even TenZ cries when plays at 50+ ping because he can't hold an angle because enemy will pass so fast at his screen. It's a fact.
