From a team that was good and went on to be the first team outside of NA to defeat Sentinels in masters berlin to a team that can't even defend itself after invitation to closed qualifiers. I don't know why they always seem to mess up big time, if it was some issue why not focus on solving it rather than changing roster every single time?

He was young and had potential and sure he might have been a bad sport but it's not something that can't be fixed, afterall they had like 3 months to work over it. But instead they just remove them to get new players and now the team is just not working.

It's a working process you know? They are adjusting to a new system with no IGL with new players plus new combo. Everytime on Fracture they fully rotated on Def side or attacked the fully stacked side when attacking because of poor IGLing. Against Alliance, they didn't have Skye or Kay/O. so basically L because of the poor character combinations. Going from 0 is the way for them.

the worst decision, they dropped a top tier Jett that performed on LAN for botwell to play mid-tier jett.

He had the potential to be a top tier player but he was just too inconsistent, you see the top Jett's/Duelists consistently near the top of their teams but Keloqz was so inconsistent

Upper part of bracket was stacked, all matches were close, sometimes just luck decided who goes further

G2 would've won against BDS or this weak Tenstar easily, and wouldn't need to start from open qualifiers

U acting like Alliance and Team Vitality are weak contenders. Alliance have to many in their strat book and team vitality has a lot of firepower. So dont doubt these teams.

My tier list as of now:
Vitality = Guild > BIG = Rebels = Alliance = G2 (unlucky circumstances) >>> Tenstar >>> BDS

Notice how all matches between teams in upper part of bracket were either 3-mappers or 13-11 / overtimes, G2 are not as bad as you think

Guild are the strongest contenders by far. Vitality, Alliance and BIG are all looking amazing. Tenstar with some teething issues having only played with Doma for a week. BDS have looked better tbf. G2 having a complete identity crisis - great players but no cohesion at all. I'd still put my money on G2 being swamped by any of these teams right now.

So there were internal issues among g2 probs keloqz and nukkye
So G2 management preferred Nukkye over Keloqz. Because you can get cracked jett players are common and very few players of Nukkye caliber are available.
To replace them and fix roles they got hoody and meddo from giants.
Now they need an IGL and a jett player because Mixwell is bad at both.
My idea is if no one from team can IGL. -Mixwell -Meddo sadly plus DavidP( a role swap would be required) or a sova igl player and a jett player and nukkye back on duelist

Where'd you get this from m8. If he was in the team is because he was still performing and there was no need to replace him.
Established a dominant era in 2020 thus rosters changes (Zeek iteration) were built around him but that's about it. Won RB 2021, then more roster changes came in and he was still performing good all things considered

After -Keloqz and lineup announcement, he stated in stream that he was expecting to be dropped but pipsoN was in charge of roster changes & he explicitly wanted him and the other 4 in the team.

Carlos doesn't care about having "a face of" nor he intends to create one if they're not winning. He wants his teams to be the greatest by any means necessary. It's G2.

We'll never know what's going on behind the scenes, but rest assured that if general agreement is reached about Mixwell being the problem (or one of the problems)... they won't hesitate in replacing him (we're already seeing rumours). That's something they've always made clear and I applaud them for that

Put mixwell on a passive or flex role again and rotate between him and meddo or keloqz depending on the map!

Yes! I pretty much though the same. Basically the same as your list but I would play with keloqz and mixwell on Bind as medido seems not too confortable with Viper. So the lineup on Bind would be: Viper (Mix), Astra (Avo), Raze (Nukkye), Sova (Hoody), Skye (Keloqz)

Yeah i thought the same abt Meddo on Viper, but it's risky to put keloqz on the Skye. I don't know how I prefer it, if Mix with Viper and risk it with keloqz on Skye, or Mix with Skye and risking it with Meddo on Viper. The thing is Mixwell is really consistent on Bind no matter the agent.
