So basically everyone knows that Lakia is LFT.
TNL esports have disbanded.
Since Zest is back, VS will have 5 man roster, kind of a dick move and i feel sad for Lakia.
The only place that needs players AND can match the salary is NU (in Korea) and since a lot of teams have finalised their roster it will be hard for Lakia to find a team straight away (unless something was agreed beforehand)
Nuturn is most likely to come back to valorant with a completely new roster so I hope (hopium) Lakia goes back and maybe Seoldam, Astell(might be hard cos he lives in JP but we never know), and a few other fa players//
Lakia said that he had injuries when he first joined DRX VS, and is now going for rehab, but he will be back by this year's VCT.
A lot of offers are coming in for TNL players! So they are thinking about whether to move on as whole, finding new team or splitting up.
*This will be updated, sorry I'm not very well nowadays so i might be late for news but we have other fantastic users to cover kr scene so I'm not worried

Nah there are better controller who is lft now than FiveK, since TNL disbanded, if the roster do not get pick up by another org, TS is a really good option who can igl.

I just realized that it was single elim for berlin qualifiers in kr, that's actually really stupid if they were competing for 2 slots with the finalists. I'm not too involved in the scene but is tnl really better than damwon back then though? I heard damwon was the favored team to qualify alongside VS.

This is what happens when you have single elimination playoffs all year long and even the best tier1 KR teams play like 5-6 games per split (excluding qualifying matches against random immortal mixes), no events except VCT either

For anyone wondering, TNL disbanded because their financials have been pretty bad for the past year
They were on the verge of going bankrupt a few months ago because someone had mishandled their financial situation and thought everything was going well, turns out it wasn’t

yea lakia's contract was done, and so he went to VS but mostly people are sad about the treatment. However, lakia did have some problem with his wrist in the beginning so yea unfortunate.

yes bigger in terms of total size but that's just because japan has more orgs willing to give out good salaries, overall korea has more proven talent on an international scale, however that might not continue if japan starts developing in the coming years

They originally wanted to after getting the funds, but considering their manager left and the sudden disband, their new roster was just left behind
