Because people didn't know the details of Yoru kit and just liked the overall agent concept

Nobody knew that Yoru's:

Teleport last only 20 seconds, makes huge noise when exiting, and there is 1 second delay before you pick up a gun
Ultimate works the same as teleport with all the same flaws, lasts only 9 seconds
Footsteps don't make the same noise as most characters, and they are visible to enemies

actually many pros said that he is gonna be super op in beta test.

especially ANGE1 on his vid said how insane yoru is. so yes, many pros were talkin bout yoru being superb.

imo agents like yoru just shouldnt be in valorant, but who cars bout my opinion uknow
